Morning Pickles!
My Chris is home today...not feeling well. He actually seems a little better now, and has kept down some soup, but was praying to the porcelain God as the bus was pulling up to the stop. I was very proud of Martina for getting on the bus by herself. I was worried she'd be scared without him there, but she did fine.

Shaddup! Yanno, I think you should extend your vacay by one more day so you can meet us.

Sorry Chris is sick. Tis that time of year. Sigh. I hope he feels better really soon. I bet an extra day at disney would fix him right up!!!

Honey, those and the Tigger Ears were the first items in the suitcase!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, I have to go try to find a bathing suit; put mine on last night...nope, no way I'm going to the pool in that. Ain't happening.

The older I get the less I'm concerned about how I look ... as long as it covers the worst areas, I'm okay. I just keep buying the suits a little bigger and it works

Our March break (for our province) is always the first week of March. We always go two weeks so either the last week of Feb and March break or the first two weeks of March. The crowds were scarce this year. We were shocked. No waits for ANYTHING. Matter of fact, when the rides were done, instead of us getting off, we were asked if we wanted to go again! It was crazy. Not sure where everyone was. Sick in their rooms maybe??? Some of the cast members were wearing parkas and scarves and gloves. I never laughed so hard in my life. We were swimming in the pool!!!

I don't think we'll wear our ears to Fulton's...but you never know with my silly DH. Yes, those bathing suits looked like they belong on a pregnant woman. No thank you...been there, done that. I'm through!

The Christmas break is not really when I would want to go ... but our school district has very few days off in the school year ... my choices are limited if I try to go before the school year is over, without having them miss school or limit the days they miss. I have made my promise to Samantha (plus I will want to go back to see Mickey!!). The plus is that my niece is going over the holidays so I would be able to see her, but I'm afraid of how much it will cost me. Oh well, I can wait until the end of June to go as well and not have it affect school. Crowds or heat, my choices, right??
Okay now.. we will be there the end of June into July.. so I vote you go then Does my vote count??????????

The pork loin sounds good too ~ hmmm, maybe the 3 of us will have to try the beer sampler

Wow! Two weeks in DW? That's great! Our school district does not have any extended school shut down after the Christmas break. We have MLK day, President's Day, 3 days at Easter and two staff inservice days - that's all. Glad you could walk right on rides (and stay on them!) if you wanted to! Last year I waited 55 minutes to go on TSM!! (worth it though) Well Trac that's wonderful for you and your family that you can take advantage of a slower time to go. I love it when you said people were wearing their parkas I guess to us Northerners its summer in March

I've decided that Christmas break is a no-go, so I'm looking at early summer or later in August. It would be so cool to meet up with you. I will probably book the bounceback when I'm there to have something (it will be the free dining I'm sure). But I'm keeping my eyes open for any special deals in either June/July, so ya never know.

WHAT!! OH NO!! Okay, lots and lots of water, chicken soup (for real) and Airborne invented every 4 hours!! I know some say Airborne does nothing for them - when I was after school director it was what we all swore by if taken every 4 hours. I know loads of people who swear by it - take it immediately at the first sign and every four hours for it to work.

If I don't start at the first sign of a cold and not take it every four hours with lots of liquids and chicken soup, then it does not help.

Good luck and you WILL be better by Friday!!!

Christine passed along great advice – follow everything she said (get PLENTY of rest, fluids). You are probably all packed, so just concentrate on getting better!! I’m sure this is nerve wracking for you before your trip, but it is going to work out. You will be in Florida on Friday and you will be better. (This will probably be your worst day.) Hugs to you
