Good Morning, Janet!

Well, I think the disease of indecisive resort decision rubbed off on me....when I think I'm excited about the resort...an hour later I'm dreading it. Not the resort itself but because water view is not available and I really need that in order to have special needs block a room with lots of natural light. Think poor Tracy had to take a Valium before bed last night.

We are holding POR 5 ngts, std and FQ std (just 3 ngts there) - both beautiful resorts and we would enjoy either. No water view at POR or FQ, CBR has water view, but no preferred location and POP has nothing.

The last refurb at the PO resorts was in 2004 and many DISers post comments on the condition of the rooms now...it is getting time for a light refurb of those rooms and I'd really like a nice clean room in good shape for my dollar.

Fingers crossed a water view opens and we can relax.

Heather - I had an awesome time too! And I did feel like we had known each other a long time .... Disney shopping, gabbing away, dinner, drinks, great company, just a perfect time I have a tendancy to talk too much, I hope Martina was okay when you got home, cause I felt a little bad keeping you out.

BTW, I found the pin this AM, like I knew I would. (My little fault pickles is that I am disorganized). Well, I GUESS we need to get together again soon so I can give it to you Here is the pic that a very nice lady at the bar took of us. Heather ~ you look great in this pic! Christine ~ I know that it will all come out right in the end, something will open up Do you need water view and preferred at CBR?? I guess just to be close to the food court?

Hey, I just got Rose & Crown for 6:55 pm on Sunday when we arrive! (Nothing has been available for this day for dinner that wasn't interferring with Illuminations). I hear that you can see Illuminations from this restaurant, so I think I have a good time slot for dinner and to see the show

BTW - hasn't anyone eaten here before and do you like it??

I'm so glad she was okay ... terrific idea putting Dumbo in the Bed. Five is such a great age, isn't it?? Lots of hugs and kisses I am leaving Pluto for Samantha with a note from me on the day I leave, to let her know I am thinking of her and will miss her.

Yes, getting together after my trip sounds great! I can tell you all about it and have some pics to show!

Hi, Janet - no, do not really need water view and preferred. Pref is better than water view, but I could easily work with special needs for a fine room location at CBR. It's just Tracy and I both love the walk between POR and FQ and Elliot Dyson plays at FQ - sort of a soft Jazz, which is so nice...then the boat to DTD. Has it all, really - except the right room category!!!

Did I say we do have POR booked, std? It just makes me very nervous as a std b/c the resort is so lush, the rooms already dark, so the trees blocking most of the light. We stayed there once in a water view room, but it qwas on the back corner of the bldg and the only water was a sliver, if the wind blew the pine trees. lol But we were at the parking lot and back walk to the first bus stop, so it was still fine. Very dark rooms though.

...sigh.... LOL If POP had been available this would not be an issue!!! LOL

Yes, we've eaten at Rose & Crown numerous times and we have always enjoyed our meals. Service is hit or miss though. Last year it was great; the year before it was really, really slow.

I love POR Riverside. I love the walk to the food court in the mornings with the mist over the water.... ahhhh. We have stayed there a couple of times. Never spent the money to have the water view because the water is everywhere, but we had a much better time staying in the Alligator Bayou sections, so perhaps you should request the Bayou over the plantations.
Oh man, I can hear that music in my head.. like the Mississippi Delta. So wish I were going with you.
