Hey Ladies!!

I hope everyone has had a nice weekend! We didn't do too much this weekend- it's been raining like crazy here and I can't stand it! The power has gone out multiple times but it gives me a good excuse to burn all my Yankee Candles (I buy waaayy too many of them ).

Saturday we went to see Night at the Museum 2. It was cute!! Not as good as the first one but worth seeing, IMO. After, DFiance's brother came over and they played on the Xbox (will men ever grow up?) while I went out with friends.

Today we just went to Church and breakfast. I watched a movie with my mom and then went to visit Grandma. Now DFiance and I are wedding planning!!

What's everyone doing tomorrow? Hope you all are having a nice weekend!!

Hi Rora! I worked at the Special Olympics all weekend. It was awesome! We had so much fun. I was on the Medical team. I was at the track on Friday and Saturday, and basketball today. No major medical emergencies, a few scrapes and some overheating. Saturday night they had a dance. We had sooo much fun! It was kinda like their prom. I'm exhausted, but it was sooo worth it!

Hey girls! Sounds like everyone had a good weekend. I had to work Saturday but that night DBf and I went to see Night at the Museum 2. I liked it even though it wasn't as good as the first one. Can I tell you how much I love Hank Azaria though? That man is awesome.

On Sunday I went to DBf's brother's graduation party. It was fun. I mostly just hung out with his cousins and drank some coronas.

Yesterday we went to Dorney Park and spent most of the day in Wildwater Kingdom. I think we hit about every attraction there and we got soaked on the lazy river. I forgot you go under a waterfall on that one! We were hanging out in the wave pool for a little while and all I could think about was Typhoon Lagoon's wave pool. I can't wait to go back there!

Now it's back to work. At least it's a short week!

I LOVE Hank. I saw him in Spamalot and fell in love. He's fantastic!!

I'm not doing too much today, just teaching and then spending time with DFiance. We are crunching out wedding plans and hopefully will be finished soon!

We didn't do anything yesterday- just had a nice America dinner-- hamburgers, baked beans, corn, and apple pie complete with festive red white and blue napkins!

I don't really have much I need to do today. Just playing catch up from things I did on Saturday because our invoicing system wasn't working correctly. And I put another Disney res on hold for someone. This will be my....9th Disney booking I think? Since January! Not including my own!

Today I am just kinda relaxing.. teaching, the usual. I am getting excited to see UP. I really want to see it Friday when it comes out but Jackson thinks it'd be better if we waited to see it-- more anticipation, plus, he likes to read the reviews.

Well, I made a very important decision last night. I decided that I cannot keep teaching elementary school. I LOVE it, I really do. It's just that I feel like I am going to be all worn out before I'm even 25. I knew elementary school aged kids were a lot to handle but sheesh! So, I'm thinking about going back to UF this summer to take a couple of classes to be certified to teach secondary social science-- in real people terms that means middle or high school history. The only problem is that I would have to literally move to Gainesville (about 4 hours away) for 6 weeks, and Jackson would have to stay at our house due to his job and all. I don't know if I can stand being away for 6 weeks.. I am at a loss for what to do.. Opinions? Help?!

Wedding Party:
~Bride: Hi. We all know who this is J
~Groom: Jackson.. you’ve heard a lot about him!
~Maid of Honor: Best friend from high school, Rachel
~Bridal Party: 2 cousins and Jackson’s sister
~Best Man: Jackson’s brother
~Groomsmen: 3 friends
~Ceremony: The ceremony itself will be held at University of Florida’s Baughman Center. It sits right on the lake and is gorgeous. Both DFiance and I went to UF. The great thing about the Baughman Center is that it’s not a Church—it’s a “Meditation Center”. Therefore, no debates over denomination. YAY! But, we are being sneaky- our invitations will not say Baughman Meditation Center (Lord knows I’d get hung for that!!).. they will say “Lake Alice Chapel”, and no one will ever know!!!!

~The Bridesmaid Dresses: The girls picked out the dresses. They are from David’s Bridal. They’re wonderful! They are in “Candy Pink”, the 5th color from the left.

That isn’t our picture but you get the idea.. J
~The Invitations: Exactly the same as the “Save the Dates” but on longer paper with no picture, and obviously, more information.
~The Flowers:
Pink Peonies and a few pink roses for my bouquet. My girls will carry the same bouquet but smaller and with no roses. The guys will all have a pink peony.
~The Centerpieces:
The same as my flowers but bigger in tall vases on the tables (they’re round tables) with white hydrangeas mixed in. There will also be little pink candles (votive? I think..) around the table.
~The Favors:
Oh goodness. My aunt is insisting on making a “cookie bar”. She’s done this for every wedding in the family and I really don’t want it. Basically, she bakes a BUNCH of cookies and we display them on a table, give them little boxes with our names and wedding date on it and our guests can pack the boxes full with cookies to take home. Ehh..

I want to give pink Yankee Candles.

Not the huge ones, but the little ones. I thought they could double as name plates.. kinda like this but obviously not with sand :
~The Cake:
The cake will be pretty similar to this but it will be round That's pretty hard to see! Sorry!
~The Food:
We’re undecided. Jackson wants Southern Food and I want Italian. I know we should probably have a normal mix but I figure, I’m only getting married once, we’re gonna do what we want!

And being that it's only 4 hours away and not cross country, can't you see each other on weekends? I know it may be tough but you'll be ok and 6 weeks will fly by!

I can't wait for this week to be over. I really want to see UP on Friday night too and I don't have to twist Joe's arm on that one because he loves Pixar. I'm supposed to be helping my brother move on Saturday but...who knows? There's a whole mess going on right now with that.

My boss just told us they're cutting back our hours. That means no more 7-3 on Saturday, it goes back to 9-3 but I'm bummed cause that means less money in my paycheck. I guess I can't be too upset. I'm just happy they're going this route rather than laying more people off.

Still not feeling great, but better. We think I'm now deficient in Growth Hormone, so I'm waiting to get a test done to see if I'm making enough. If I"m not, that could be part of the reason I feel so rotten and keep getting sick. Waiting on more test results to see if the surgery worked. I swear, waiting for results should be classified as cruel and unusual punishment!!!!!!!!!

Really want to go see UP, maybe tomorrow if I'm feeling up to it.

Have to figure out what I want to do for my birthday next month and where to go for dinner over in Portland. So I guess that's my next big decision...

All these test results, you're exactly right about them. I'm sure it's toturous having to wait. I hope the tests turn out ok!

I will definitely be seeing UP at some point during this weekend. There are so many movies coming out this summer that I want to see. I screamed "HARRY!" when I saw the new trailer for HBP before Night at the Museum 2. I'm a nerd.
