Tween Club ages

Edge 11-14
Vibe 14-17
It may be possible to age up 1 year early but you won’t know until onboard.

My 10 year old is about to age out of Oceaneers. Since someone else started this thread on the topic, I was wondering if someone could point me towards good resources for Edge? She’s very sad that her days in Oceaneers are limited and I would love to be able to get here enthusiastic about Edge (if it’s good) or mentally adjust to a traveling with a kid who doesn’t have onboard activities (if it’s not good).

My kids actually loved Edge (and Vibe even more). They still have activities, they are just not only in the kids space. I have seen the Edge kiddos happily doing scavenger hunts around the ship in groups and just having an amazing time. The biggest tip I can give for Edge or Vibe is make them go to Ice Breakers the first night. I don't care if they need to leave dinner early or miss a show or activity- go to Ice Breakers. It is the best time for them to connect and everyone is nervous and wanting to make friends. Once groups are formed it can feel hard to find a foothold. Ice Breakers is not to be missed that first day!

I think it depends on the sailing (and the other kids). When DS went to the Edge on the Fantasy in April, he'd go because of a scheduled activity and then no one really wanted to do it (so maybe he needed to pick more interesting activities?). Although he did make a few friends. In June, he went to a few things and seemed to have fun, but mostly wanted to go to the pool during the day on sea days or to the movies in the evening.
