Any new movies or series you recommend?

Have you binged Mad Men yet? We are on our third time around. Great with drinks on a Friday stay in night.

Also, Curb Your Enthusiasm from the very beginning. We never watched when it was originally showing. Loved it!
What streaming service is madmen on? I watched without H and want to rewatch with him.

Just finished up the handmaids tale and season 3 of squid game. A little bloodshed…

Just finished season one of Nine Perfect Strangers and was reminded of how talented some people are, the entire cast was amazing. Nicole Kidman brought the same sort of something from The Others, Melissa McCarthy always did funny cute but wow she is great at drama & Bobby Cannavale is fantastic, I only saw him do scary dude stuff but he can also do this and Michael Shannon was outstanding. Second season didn't rate as well but I started watching.

Just saw F1 in the theater and it was absolutely incredible, Brad Pitt still has it.

We are planning a trip to Scottland next year and we are going to take some time to get down to Port Issac (port wenn from Doc Martin)

We're going in Sept. for 2 weeks. I'm starting to think I'm the only person in the world who goes to Scotland NOT for the Outlander stuff! Everything seems geared toward the tourist who wants to see places from that book/show!

I was SO glad dh and I didn't discover this until the second season was about to start b/c we never would have been able to endure the wait between seasons. so well written.
Season 3 is confirmed and I'm SO excited. I only heard about it while season 2 was airing and I actually can't believe people endured that wait in between seasons with season 1's insane cliffhanger.

If you haven't watched Ford v. Ferrari (currently on Hulu) you will absolutely love it.
I'll save you the 2 hours, Ferrari (the one with Adam Driver) was a total letdown. So boring, and the racing was obviously fake (constant shifting and the CGI crashes looked more like a scene from Transformers)

Not super new, but Counterpart was a great show. I wish it got more seasons.
Reacher
Upload is funny and surprisingly dark at times
What We Do In the Shadows is one of the funniest shows ever

waiting on the final season sometime this year.

LOVE IT! I also recommend watching the movie (and check out the special features if you get it on dvd-there's footage they filmed when they were working on the concept and improvising lines).

also-if you watched it/will watch it make sure on the final episode to see all the alternate endings (many who watched it live on fx vs. streaming did not realize these existed).

fans of WWDITS-check out the spin off (adapted from)-'wellington paranormal'.

If you’re thinking about driving then you’re looking at at least a 10/12 hour drive to get from Scotland down to Port Isaac in Cornwall.

We enjoyed watching all the seasons of Bosch and Bosch legacy on Amazon - I had also read all the books.

We also enjoyed the Terminal List - also enjoyed all those books.

What we thought we would do is spend some time in Edinburgh. Planned on going to the Royal Highland Show and going down to Dumfries to visit Dalscome Farms. My wife follows them on you tube. Part of the plan is to take an overnight train to london for a couple of days and then a take a train down to Port Issac

Some good ones off the top of my head:

Mr. Mercedes (I think this is on Peacock)
Your Honor (Showtime or Paramount +)
From (I found this on Amazon Prime)
Mindhunter (Netflix)
Criminal Minds (Paramount +)

I also really like Stranger Things, Outlander, Wednesday, Supernatural.

I finished The Handmaid's Tale a few weeks ago. So good but was difficult to watch sometimes with the treatment of women and kids. But still good.

Shows I've binged over the years (on Disney+ or Netflix):
Bridgerton
Queen Charlotte
Call the Midwife
The Crown
Grace and Frankie
Virgin River
Workin' Moms
Emily in Paris
Manifest
The Empress
Queen's Gambit
Dawson's Creek (currently watching)
Paradise
Doctor Who
Grey's Anatomy
Firefly Lane
Sex Education
Killing Eve (started but struggled to get into - will go back to it)

We just started watching The Lincoln Lawyer on Neflix and we're really enjoying it. :thumbsup2

1883 and 1923 = yep very good.

Outlander was good, but had some insanely troublesome scenes in it for my taste.

I will check out hell or high water.

My son said F1 was great, so it’s on the list too.
The Terminal List on prime is another good show

I'll second Peaky Blinders
