Photopass Swap as a Canadian?

Any Canadians ever do a Photopass swap with non-Canadians?

I want to get in on a May Photopass swap, but I'm wondering now if being Canadian will make it more complicated?

Maybe I should gather up a swap with other Canadians to make it easier.

Any thoughts???

I did a Photopass swap with a woman in California (and 4 other families). It was great. I paid her $20 through paypal and got the CD a few weeks later. I think I had about 60 pics - so I felt that $20 was definitely worth it.

I bought some prints through Walmart and had no problems with the small (regular sized) prints. But, for some reason, the one 5X7 I ordered, Walmart would not give it to me with out a consent - which I did not get.

So you may want to ask for a copy of the consent before swapping.

With Photopass, you can add as many as five cards onto one account. So with swapping, I believe the idea is to get together with five people in order to split the cost of the Photo CD ($120). One person orders the CD and then makes copies and sends them out to everyone.

bunnyfoo, I'm going from September 8th to the 16th and I'd be interested in a Photopass swap if we can get at least 1 or 2 other families.
The question I have is: how many pictures does the CD hold?
I would be bad if we had to buy 2 CDs because the pics don't fit in one.

It seems that you can put as many pictures as you want. Each CD will only hold 300 pictures based on the settings being used by Disney CMs. I found the information on this post:

If the CDs are similar to what you'd get back from let's say Blacks or Wal-Mart, I can split the pictures up accordingly. So it shouldn't be a problem getting everyone their pictures. I think the only limit is 5 Photopass cards/CD.

Keep me posted. My dates are September 26-October 8th. Hopefully that won't be too late It will be nice to get the pictures and be able to share the shipping/CD costs!
