Photopass CD for $99

Bumping up for any new info.

Anyone have any new information on this? Can you get this once you get home or do you still have to buy it from the Epcot photo center or GF gift shop?

Sorry if this was alreday posted but I scanned and didnt see it mentioned. But how much are each individual photopass pics? Is there a cheaper rate the more you buy? 99 is to steep for this unplanned budget trip. But if they had smaller packages or the individual pics were not bad that would be great. Anyone know?

I believe the 5x7 is $12.95. I don't think it's cheaper the more you buy however, you could possible get a discount code before you buy them. Sometimes they'll send you an email with a code or you can see if anyone posts a code here on the DIS.

I never have enough good shots taken to warrent buying the CD for the new price of $124.95.

I usually only buy 2 or 3 individual photos myself.

The good thing about looking at them from home is you can compare them to the photos you took with your camera and decide which ones are really worth buying.

Good luck!

Have you thought about doing a Photopass share? There are groups that get together and share the cost of the CD, then make copies for the whole group. It's a much better deal and you get all your Photopass pics along with the rights to print.

this is such an old thread and is probably substantially out of date. so i'm only going to offer that the photoCD can be purchased in advance for $100 and has a satisfaction guarantee that if you decide not to get it after returning, you can get your money back

http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx

the pricing structure for prints is as follows:

* 5x7 - $12.95
* 8x10 - $16.95
* 4 wallet size - 12.95
* 5x7 + 4 wallet size - $19.95

all of this is/will be on my almost completed photopass primer at http://www.stitchkingdom.com/photopass

bradk - can I wait and go to the parks 1st and see how many pictures we take with photopass? Then before we leave (or when we get home) pay for the cd online for the $100 with the code, and then order it once we are home? I'm not sure we want a photo cd unless we have lots of pictures taken.
Thanks.

You can order the individual photos or the CD after you get home and after you check them out first.

The CD is now $124.95.

It's actually better to wait till you get home because then you can edit them and add borders. You can also compare the Photopass photos with your own photos taken and see which Photopass photos are worth purchasing.

I was referring to the $100 promotional rate that bradk provided a link for. Disney's instructions to get the $100 price (a 20% off coupon) say that you must pre-pay before your vacation. I want to know if I can "pre-pay" once we've started our vacation.

Oh, I'm sorry! :blush:

You do have to pre-pay to get that price. But it has a money back guarantee if you are not happy with the photos.

I just ordered mine for my trip in 2 weeks.:banana: I think it is a good deal b/c I was pretty sure I was going to get it anyway-so this way I saved $25 plus shipping. I think the satisfaction guarantee is what really sold me-if I decide I don't want it within 2 weeks of the end of our trip, I can request a refund.-I don't see how I can go wrong.:confused3

Ok, I'm going to WDW in less than 3 weeks, and then we are going back in November. Would I be able to combine the pictures from both trips on 1 cd and then order it in November? I would love to preorder it for $100 but I don't want to do it twice. It would be a great deal if I could combine the pictures from both trips.

Just a quick question that I couldn't find an answer to among the info. If you prepurchase the cd, can you add the borders and characters to the pics after you get home or is that something you have to do before they burn the cd at DW??

TIA!

The promotional discount link has the answer to your question: http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx

Yes, after your trip, you can edit the photos and then when you are done, you enter the discount code they provide you with (that you will get when you pre-pay) and order your pre-paid, discounted CD.

You'd probably have to hold onto the photopass from the first trip and use that one in November, assuming the September one doesn't expire before then. :confused: :confused: :confused:

hey Brad,
I checked out your above link to stitch kingdom and wanted to let you know we did the CRT add on to the photopass but we also were able to add Chef Mickeys, this was in March of 2007.

We usually ask the photopass people to takes pictures with our camera (checking they come out good) and also do the pass pictures. I think to get th best deal out of the $99 cd you'd have to have a heck of a lot of pictures - and better ones than on your camera. I have no problem editing them at home; the photopass website is really cool, being able to make postcards and stuff but I don't think it is worth the extra money when I can spend less with online photo-store-&-print sites.

Rock'n Robin;
I say go ahead and preorder now! It is still technically before your trip, that makes it a pre-order. You're not there, and you haven't had any pictures taken. I plan on ordering mine for our trip in Septmeber.

Rusty's mom;
Regarding the two trips, I don't think that you can save the card from Sept. to Nov. I believe the photos expire within 30 days of posting. Sept. to Nov. is definitely more than 30 days.

You both should read bradk's photopass website, I think the link is in his post about 5 posts back. It's really good, and where I got the info to answer your questions! Good Luck with your trip, only 2 days?!?! I've got 40!
