Thanks to the other posts, I got my bum in gear and booked HHI at 7 months for Spring Break (April 1-6).

I needed a 2bd and a studio for the week. Called up yesterday afternoon and I was able to book the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th. The resort was sold out on the 3rd (Tuesday). Waitlisted for that night.

So, it sounds like the resort is filling up fast. Get your reservations in now, or do the waitlist mambo!

A few years ago, I had asked about HHI at spring break and was told it's nearly impossible to get it at 7 months. I never bothered to try. So, you're doing fine! My spring break always comes in March, so we're happy going to VB and WDW, but maybe someday, I will give HHI at least a try.

This will be our 3rd trip to HH during Spring Break, we've always called right at the 7 month mark and always gotten our ressies; no waitlist. Our other trip to HH was during July (another highly-sought after time at HH) and I booked that at the 7 month window as well. Give it a shot next time Bobbi! It's an incredible place!

We went for 3 years in a row during March Spring break. We never had trouble getting a 1 BR at 7 months.

Yes, it's most definetly beach weather in April in SC; the beach is busy and beautiful this t ime of year; with the water temp about 70 (that's the warmest it gets here on Long Island so our family loves it!)

I am also from Long Island, (Dix Hills) so I know about those water temps.

We'll be there too starting April 3 for 4 nights. We are going to the Final Four first. It will be our first trip to Hilton Head and are really looking forward to it.
