Phantom tickets or an unexpected free ticket??? Help!

Heading down next week and tickets we didn't purchase show up on my daughters account??? Anyone know what these are. She has made a few one and two day visits in the last two years. Could these be some kind of promotion? I'm certainly going to pursue the opportunity to get some free tickets for her if we can get them. They vacation farther south and like to stop for one day. Hope they are worth something! The five day hoppers are what we bought.

That happens to me when my sister makes Disney hotel reservations. When we set up our MDE's as friends, we apparently clicked on the option "allow [name of person] to view my plans" it will allow them to see reservations and FP's. i didnt know it would also show tickets, but that makes sense.

See if you can make additional fp+ reservations with them. If you have a 5 day hopper and mde allows you to make 6 days of fp+ reservations, they should be real tickets.

Is she linked as Friends and Family to anyone? I can see my DS ticket on his account and can even see his friend's ticket on her account but we are linked because we did some meals together. At first I was initially confused by a nameless Comp Ticket on my account but it was actually one of her CM tickets.

Making FP+ reservations does not "use" the ticket. You can cancel the FP+ reservations right after making them. You just try to make the FP+ reservations to see if you can.

Try and make 6 days of FP+ reservations for next week. If you can make the reservations for 6 days, the extra 1 day ticket is valid. If you can only make 5 days of reservations, the 1 day ticket is a phantom.

Just cancel the FP+ reservations after making them. These are only to test to see if the 1 day ticket is valid.

That's won't tell you if they are valid for admission.
We have 8 day Ghost tickets on our account for both DH and DGD. (They came from a trip just before MDE launched)
I can make FP with those Ghost tickets. They can't get in the parks with them though (we already researched it when MDE came about)

Did you use a travel agent to book the original tickets? Last year I used a travel agent and had phantom tickets show up in my MDE account. They were not assignable, however, and after our trip they disappeared. I'm still not sure what happened.
