Pet Lovers: Remember the Pet Calendar??

OK, I'm adding one more of Rowan because the general consensus among my friends and family is that he looks "scary" in the first pic I sent.

I just love looking at all your beautiful pets! :teeth:

Here's another of my Sebastian:

I love looking at everyone's beautiful furbabies! They are ALL so cute!!!!!
I think what you are doing is GREAT! Keep us updated with it, OK?

These are all great!

Here's a picture of my bestest friend, my greyhound Dasher. Any chance I get, I try to get the word out about these beautiful gentle animals. 20,000 a year are still being put to sleep. :(

Stacey - got both of your emails today. Yahoo must be acting up - go figure. :)

I thought Rowan's first picture was great. Scary? Nahhh... This one's cute, too!

Keep those photos comin'! :bounce:

Here is a picture of my 6-year-old female cat, Corrie. I got her from my cousin when she found out that she was too allergic to cats to keep her. Nobody else would take her but my family. If it wasn't for my younger sister we probably wouldn't have kept her either since Corrie can be quite ferocious a lot of the time, however my sister fell in love with her at first sight so we had to keep her!

Last two...can't forget the guinea pigs. Here's Skippy, age 4,
not a rescue - Santa Claus brought him. Besides DH he's the
only male in the house, and the only one who refuses to pose
for pictures. Coincidence? I think not.

This is Angel, age 2. Last summer our vet asked if we'd
take her from a family having allergy problems.

We've been so bored here...this has turned into a day-long project with three kids, making a pet photo gallery. :teeth:

Too cute! Glad I've inspired a project that kept the kids occupied! :)

Thanks! Besides, if they really wanted to see "scary," there's always this pic:

This is Sony, who'd determined that he clearly needed to sniff the camera and was meowing while walking toward me. :) He was a rescue, too; he and his mother had been dumped on our street and had gone through some rough times prior to our taking him in (neighbors adopted his mom). I won't even get into the hideously disgusting medical procedure that I had to watch be performed on him right after we got him, and you all should be thankful for that. ;)

And this last one isn't a rescue, per se, but who doesn't like kitten pics?

She is the daughter of a rescued cat, though (one of whom I'm still trying to find a good pic--she's kinda squirrely and doesn't like to sit still for pictures), if that counts for anything. :)

My best friend, Frege. He was adopted 2 years ago from the Long Island Sheltie Fancier (LISSF). He's now 11 years young, and very healthy, strong and attentive. It's the best thing that ever happened to us.

Check out the LISSF. http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Woods/7224/first.html
Really great people, who matched me with the best doggie in the whole world.

Thanks for doing the calendar. Me and Frege really appreciate that. :)

You guys are still KILLING me - these faces are too much!

The first is my sister two boys...Barney (the beagle) and Baxter (the lab).
The are sooooo funny! :rotfl: They even act like brothers!! ;)

Yes, their all spoiled! VERY spoiled!! I'm sure no one else does that either! ;)
But we wouldn't trade them for the world!

Here's another one of Corrie pretending to be a little angel...

And here is one of my cat Elmo...My family got him from one of my cousins who was staying with us when she was in grade 9. She bought him while she was living with us and just kept him here! That was about 9 years ago now. He's such a teddy bear and is always purring.
