OK, one more (for now, anyway )--this is Izzy (the day we brought him home) introducing himself to Kate, the black Lab my brother gave me for my HS graduation:
My condolences to all of you who have lost pets, either recently or not-so-recently. My beloved Midnight died a few years ago at 17, and not a day goes by that I don't miss him.
This is my Rusty. He is 6 yrs old. He was rescued off a farm
This is my Charlie. He was living in a family memeber's garage with no human contact except to feed him at times. We decided he deserved a better life then that so we took him into our home. We just help him to the Rainbow Bridge a little over a week ago (1/13/05) after his brain tumor was too advance. He was 13 yrs old. This picture was taken when he was much healthier & younger at about the age of 9 yrs old.
All of your fur-babies are beautiful! Here is mine, we rescued him when he was 8 months old he will be 3 in February. He's a big boy with a huge heart and we LOVE him! His name is Brutus and he is a Neopolitan Mastiff.
This is Suzy, our 8 yr old cafe auliet colored miniature poodle (aka demon dog in pictures..lol)

And this is them after we took the covers off of their dog beds to be washed. They just think it's the greatest thing in the world to lay down on the bed with the covers off.. and they are a bit dramatic at it. It's a wonder all the blood didn't rush to Tinks head.

This is Rebel. He's two years old and we rescued him at a flea market. A lady and her daughter were selling puppies out of the back of their station wagon for $10. He's half lab and we think half hounddog. He loves his Kong.
This is Ollie. He was rescued at 4 weeks from a pound in Pennsylvania by my SO's kids. They moved to Wisconsin and couldn't keep him so we ended up with him or they were going to take him back to the pound He's five years old and half lab/half greyhound.
I will put up a pic of Missy, she is a cat that my Uncle rescued when I saw that she had a medical dissorder ( I won't go into details) She is happy, Healthy, and fat now, she is also really cute! Goodluck with your calendar.
These are our guys. On the left is Beau, we got him from the Humane Society when he was about 1. He passed away last August at the grand old age of 16. On the right is our monster cat Norman, we rescued him when he was about 3 weeks old.
This is my 11-year-old cat named Chico. He was dumped on a farm when he wasn't even old enough to take care of himself and still needed milk from his mother. He was full of flees and everything else imaginable. The woman who rescued him gave him to me when he was about 6 months old...I've had him ever since. Now he is as healthy and happy as can be. These pictures were taken this morning looking at the snow we are being dumped with.
