My sister has an online pet gift basket business at www.kimspets.com. Maybe she would be interested in selling your calendar; She does a lot of fund raising with products and events. Her cat and dog, that she features on the site are from animal rescues.

Definitely keep in touch, she has many media connections in the Raleigh area that she uses to promote pet events. She recently hosted a singles and their pets mixer to raise money for a local animal rescue.


My babies are yin yang, angel and fawn.

We got our 3 from an abandoned (or should I say unoccupied by humans) house when they were not yet 5 weeks old The gal whom we got them from had 4 or 5 females PG.
Max, Milo and Peppy's mom had had 3 litters in the past year (and went on to have 2 more the following year--the next 2 were beyond deformed and mentally ill cats.

I didn't want 3, just 2 (the 2 girls Milo and Pepper) but my sister couldn't handle even one kitten for a day and so Max moved in...
Luckily they adjusted very well. I feel bad for Pepper b/c the other 2 pick on her terribly just like siblings do LOL. She would have been a great single cat home...

We got them fixed at 5 months as to not repeat what happened to their poor mother....

They just turned 3 on January 16th

This is Max. He is 5 yrs old and is a Maine Coon Mix. We found him on Petfinder.com and adopted him from a shelter that was getting ready to close.

Here is a pic of Max and his big sister Shelby. Shelby was also a shelter cat, 6 yrs old and also a Maine Coon Mix.

Both kitties are beautiful! My first cat, who I had from the 3rd grade until I was 24 was a Maine Coon Mix and looked a lot like Shelby....she is beautiful!

This is Duncan, also seen in my sig. He's about 6 years old, mostly cocker spaniel. We found him at a rescue place through petfinder.com.

This was my old dog, Boyse. I rescued him from a mean owner. He was my heart - and I will miss him forever. He was, we think, English cocker spaniel.
