"Personally, I think I would make a great stripper!" 8/10 The End

Lol great update!!!!
Woooo go Dawn.
Taylor is very pretty.
This all cheered me up.
It's my birthday tomorrow lol
:guilty:

Dawn -

You are the only person who could made me actually want to drive to Disney to catch all the local sites along the way. That Beacon burger is the biggest thing I have EVER seen. That is some serious food!

I am sorry to hear about Carysn's torn meniscus and PCL. Thank goodness summer is here and she can take the time to recuperate and rest. Still so frustrating.

The video of Caught in a Bad Romance is HI-sterical! I think that little boy is a mini Adam Lambert with red hair. What's up with that bruised banana? Very, very funny.

Taylor is really beautiful. That dress is gorgeous. I am continually amazed at the beautiful prom dresses that girls have today. My son's prom date had the most stunning dress ever. Where were these dresses when I actually had the bod and the youth the wear them????

So funny that I thought of you after doing the Pagani trail at AK. I had forgotten all about the naked monkeys, but as soon as I saw the gorillas and the gorilla baby, you just popped into my head.

Congrats on your new exercise program. I keep saying I am going to get Strict with my work-outs. I'll let you know when it happens!

Dawn, how does this TR get away from me so easily!!??

I think I'm caught up but it is entirely possible I am completely lost too (Ok, I don't actually know how you got where you are so far but...whatever!)

Sure hoping this TR eventually gets to Disney

Wow, the Beacon looks crazy... but good crazy. I'd go just to meet the caller dude.
When I say call - I do mean yell out at the top of your lungs!!!
BTW, have you ever been to Lambert's?? That's the throwed rolls place.
I know of it and have seen it on many shows but never been there. Future road trip for sure!!
I LOVE the Beacon. The burgers, fries, and onion rings are Deeeeelicious, and I don't even want to know the calorie count! Your description of it is right on!
:rotfl:
Great pics!
I just figure the calorie count is equal to my months worth. :lmao:
Your kids are TOO cute, handsome, good -looking, whatever you want to call it. Just adorable!!! Carsyn even looked cute when she was  with the blanket in the backseat!
She swears I took a pic of her outside of the Beacon butr I can't find one anywhere! I will pass that on and you are too kind.
I was confused from almost start to finish. LOL. We met that caller too. He's great.
Thanks for letting me know I am not the only confused one walking in there! I swear we had planned to order 3 "a-plenty's" but with the chaos, who remembered what?! Dan and I ended up down the ordering row from them and you sweat bullets making sure you will order it right or face the stares and slams from the crowd!!
It's my birthday tomorrow lol
Sarah
Happpy Birthday Sarah!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:
Dawn -

You are the only person who could made me actually want to drive to Disney to catch all the local sites along the way. A caravan road trip with a bunch of Dissers would be a blast!!!

The video of Caught in a Bad Romance is HI-sterical! I think that little boy is a mini Adam Lambert with red hair. What's up with that bruised banana? Very, very funny.
I know - if you had a banana worthy of banana bread - why would you let your son sing in it and then put it on you tube? Do they not have a hair brush like normal people singing in a pretend microphone? How bout a spoon? :confused3 :rotfl2:

My son's prom date had the most stunning dress ever. Where were these dresses when I actually had the bod and the youth the wear them????
Did you post pics somewhere???
So funny that I thought of you after doing the Pagani trail at AK. I had forgotten all about the naked monkeys, but as soon as I saw the gorillas and the gorilla baby, you just popped into my head.
Is the fact you see neked anything, and think of me, not making you want to run to a therapist of your choice??? Maybe even a bar?? :rotfl: Possibly a therapist at a bar or a bar with your therapist???
Congrats on your new exercise program. I keep saying I am going to get Strict with my work-outs. I'll let you know when it happens!
Come join our group on the WISH thread. 30 plus people and soooo supportive!!!
Dawn, how does this TR get away from me so easily!!??
Cause you are busy. I am the same way!!

Sure hoping this TR eventually gets to Disney

Disney is after 5 days at the Keys...but that posting will go by quickly most days. We will get there...promise! :flower3:

"A banana worthy of banana bread" :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2::worship:

Holy Crap......that is too funny!!!!!!!!! and, so, so true.

I do not have a picture of Brian's date. I have a lousy cell phone picture of her dress. Stop on over at my TR if you get a chance. I just started. I was having some serious issues with Brian right around the time of the prom. He went to a friends house pre - prom and I never saw him in his tux. I was so disappointed. I saw his FB pictures, but that was it. Way to break a mom's heart!

Tell the dang tag fairies. They need to get working! I think they are on vacation more than anyone I know!!! :lmao:

Ugh. That sucks no 2 ways about it. Carsyn picked out this beautiful Mother's day card and it was heartfelt so I know somewhere deep down we will someday live in harmony. I just have to not strangle her or myself till then. She and I are a lot alike.

No wonder I think she is wonderful. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I would do a TR for this up coming trip if I thought I could be half the story teller you are. :thumbsup2

We may have to try Beacons next time we drive up to the DILs. Those onion rings look so good but not sure they could beat the Varsity rings...sounds so good right now. Maybe I need to head there for lunch today..hummmm...Disney trip Target run and Varsity onion rings. Sounds like the perfect day.

I was shocked to see the mention of Wofford College. My brother played football there. I spent many a weekend having way too much fun there! I've also eaten at the Beacon many times. They have the very best onion rings I've ever tasted. We have the Varsity here in Atlanta, which also has great rings, but they don't compare to the Beacon's. It's been years since I've been there and would love to go back.

Clutz that I am I have actually torn my meniscus in my right knee twice. The first time I was in a heavy brace for about 6 weeks and it healed itself. The second time I had to have surgery. It was outpatient surgery and not a big deal at all. Hopefully Carsyn's will heal with a brace and she won't need the surgery.

Terri

OMG those burgers were huge, the onion rings look delicious!!!

Oh and us Brit's take our footie very seriously you know :snooty: :rotfl:

Taylor's dress was gorgeous and she looked just like a doll in it!
It was great to meet her and see that she was just as nice in person!

OH MY! Those fries and onion rings!!! They look Fantastic, but there is NO way that I'd be able to sit in a car for 10 minutes after eating those.

Can't wait to see the Prom Pics!

GAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I take a small vacation to Indianapolis, and miss, like...EVERYTHING!!

I am extremely jealous of Taylor. I'm short, pale, and have stubby legs. Not fat mind you, just stubby. I wish I had the body to wear a dress like that, but alas, my legs just would not do it justice. Curse you, my short parents!

I've never heard of toilet paper bombs...but there were definitely a few people at my high school who deserved them.

On a quick side note, we were driving through Frankfurt, KY, and my mom says "Isn't that where the original KFC is? I've been there." And I pipe up from the back seat "So has Dawn!!!" My parents turned and stared at me as if I'd grown an extra head, but once I said Disboards my mom understood. Dad just shook his head.

My dad almost went after a ref at one of my JV soccer games. I kicked the ball, it crossed the goal line, the goalie reached back and pulled it forward, and the ref (who was standing at the top of the box) said it was no goal. And all of the sudden I hear from the stands "PUT YOURSELF IN A POSITION TO MAKE THE CALL"...I just meandered back into a defensive position. Had no idea who had yelled that :rolleyes1

In response to your video, has anyone else seen the Greysen boy sing Paparazzi? It's INSANE!!!! It's become a national sensation, and it's no wonder why. Go check it out if you get the chance. I can't remember the kids full name, but just google "sixth grade boy Paparazzi" and it should come up.

Can't wait for the next installment, now that I'm all caught up!!!

If you have not had Olive Garden's $8 (I am guessing but it's about there) celebration cake - you are missing out.

We were huge Chocolate Lasagna cake fans in the day.

Then some dumb person working at headquarters decided to go all fancy with Raspberry Tiramisu and the lasagna cake was no more. For Treyner's 13th birthday I had spent $60 on a sheet of it. He adored it.

Oh, I am so glad I am taking time to catch up as I never knew about this. My middle one's 12th birthday is Monday and we have no school Tuesday so we are all heading to Olive Garden in Louisville on Tuesday to celebrate.

I live in illinois so i have been to Del rays chicken basket many times and Guy Ferari( lol ) was there too.
I would love to rent a big fat plush RV and scour the country for all those crazy places. Hey then you can get all the good recipes and add them to your awesome cookbook!
Great update, thanks. :thumbsup2

O.....M......G!!! That kid is AMAZING!!!! I was almost in tears and he's not even my kid :lmao: What an amazing talent at such a young age :goodvibes

Dawn - thank you so much for taking me back to the Beacon! At least this way my cholesterol count didn't go up!:lmao:
My husband and I went to college at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. We would take road trips with several car loads of our friends to Spartanburg just to go to the Beacon. The caller guy is awesome! So your report really brought back some memories! THANKS!!

I would do a TR for this up coming trip if I thought I could be half the story teller you are. :thumbsup2
I don't think I am the great est of story tellers. I just think I remember weird and quirky things that most people don't think about after their trip is over. Next time I really want to take a notebook with and jog them down while fresh in the noggin!
We may have to try Beacons next time we drive up to the DILs. Those onion rings look so good but not sure they could beat the Varsity rings... I have heard of the Varsity - am I right that it was one of the first drive through's in the country...or is it the one with the famous hot dogs...now they are all jumbling in my brain!sounds so good right now. Maybe I need to head there for lunch today..hummmm...Disney trip Target run and Varsity onion rings. Sounds like the perfect day.
Now I am jealous!!!
I was shocked to see the mention of Wofford College. My brother played football there. There is a newer stadium there - did he play in it - by the soccer fields? BEAUTIFUL!!! I spent many a weekend having way too much fun there! I've also eaten at the Beacon many times. They have the very best onion rings I've ever tasted. We have the Varsity here in Atlanta, which also has great rings, but they don't compare to the Beacon's. Maybe I will have to do a taste test drive to prove that!! ;)

Oh and us Brit's take our footie very seriously you know :snooty: :rotfl:
I have heard rumors that you are the true french!!! They just steal the show!!:rotfl: Now I need to go to England...hmmm...how to do the trips I need in such a short life...

Taylor's dress was gorgeous and she looked just like a doll in it!
It was great to meet her and see that she was just as nice in person!
I miss you guys!!! That was so nice Anita. I will tell her. Treyner leaves Tuesday to see her. He is excited and driving me crazy!!
OH MY! Those fries and onion rings!!! They look Fantastic, but there is NO way that I'd be able to sit in a car for 10 minutes after eating those.
Ummm... we did take a few potty breaks...:teacher: :rolleyes1
Can't wait to see the Prom Pics!
Me too!!!
I am extremely jealous of Taylor. I'm short, pale, and have stubby legs. Not fat mind you, just stubby. Carsyn and I call our legs squatty...or is that our whole bodies? :lmao:

I've never heard of toilet paper bombs...but there were definitely a few people at my high school who deserved them. Never too old for some good ole bathroom humor!

On a quick side note, we were driving through Frankfurt, KY, and my mom says "Isn't that where the original KFC is? I've been there." And I pipe up from the back seat "So has Dawn!!!" Carsyn had me watch it. A few days ago. His name is Greyson Chase. He is phenomenal. Ellen had him on days after his You Tube video took off. Here is the link for you guys. You have to watch it. So unbelievably talented.

Yeah!!!!! Please let me know how you like it!!! Again - not exactly the chocolate lasagna cake showed in the pic but a super close second place runner up and it is going to make you want to but a second one just to have in the freezer. Not that I know about just stopping in and buying the cake from the front check out or anything... :rolleyes1

I would absolutely love to do a RV trip with a bunch of Dissers. SOOOO fun!

I cried the first time I heard him as well. Straight from God that talent.
! So your report really brought back some memories! THANKS!!
Glad you liked it and hope you get back soon. Those places are an icon but I know here in MN - they only last for so long and then a new owner or something changes it up and it is never the same. :sad2: :guilty:

So for your funny Sunday viewing pleasure... Baylor found this on You Tube and Treyner and all his friends laughed so hard I thought they may die. Literally could not breathe.

This group of guys has a production company that they already publish and produce tons of parody style videos.

The one Baylor found is about Justin Bieber. It is a parody of him hitting puberty and is reminiscent of a Sat. Night live skit.

I sent it to my local talk radio station to one show that has a wicked sense of humor and makes fun of everybody. They are playing clips from it all the time on the air now and I just remembered I never posted it here.

How these young adults can mix music and create videos astounds me. So much more talented and inventive than my generation...I know that makes me sound 100 plus years old but I know it would take me 10 years to come up with something like it.

Dawn, I watch those same parody videos!! They're soo well made and soo funny! Cracks me up everytime I watch it.

And that Greyson is SOO talented! I wonder if Gaga herself have heard him yet...

Taylor's dress is so pretty! Do you know where she got it from?

I don't even want to know how much fat was in the food you ordered from Beacons! It looks so delicious, but so bad for you. Looking forward to the next installment!

Dawn - My brother graduated back in the early 80's, way before the new stadium. His old room mate is now the head football coach there, at least I think he still is. Even back then it was a very pretty campus.
