Minnie Van Service from MCO starting 08/11 - Questions

I am excited for the Minnie Vans! I think some folks forget the struggle with car seats lol It worth the upgrade to have nice car seats and that are installed properly. I will say we used MCO2Disney back in December and they were great

Wife and I used a Minnie Van when we moved resorts in the middle of a trip we took back in February. Mostly cause I just wanted to try them out. The CM driver was really great and we chatted about the service in general.

He said you'd be surprised how often he has to argue with parents that will refuse to put their kid in a carseat when using the service. Kinda blew my mind.

Minnie van driver today (08/12) said that word leaked (about airport pickups being expanded beyond just club level) before the official website was updated. He said deluxe only. He thinks it will include dvc if that's part of a deluxe resort. He said website probably will be updated today or tomirrow.

we used Tiffany 2 of the last 3 years for 6 people. $210 I believe it was 2 yrs ago round trip. But Disney only wants $398 roundtrip. What a great PERK

It's not really a "perk."
It's an option for those staying deluxe.
Some will find it helpful, others won't.

So I use Minnie Vans for round trip airport service. So for that I get peace of mind knowing that my Disney driver will be on time to and from Disney. I get to set my departure time from Disney (2 hours instead of 3 with most services) and a competent driver so not going to be overly talkative or annoying. Plus waters snacks and Disney conversation if I want that. So $398-$210=$188.00. So after paying approximately 10K for CL ar YC WV for about 8 days 7 nights, I think the $188 is certainly reasonable especially what I stated above that is important to me. I am not trying to sound snobbish but I do put things In prospective. That difference in cost using a 2 year old example is approximately a dinner for two at Yachtsman. I would rather have the Minnie Van vs Yachtsman. Nothing against Yachtsman but it can be at times unpredictable where the Minnie Van in my experience has been very predictable.

I find the private services better than the Minnie vans - Never had a overly talkative driver nor a late driver. Water is provided , heck if I wanted something else they would add it for way less than the upcharge for a polka dotted SUV. All the drivers I have had have been wonderful I do not think there is any special "quality" from a disney driver.

And your missing the key point- try getting a Minnie van if your flight is late as they are not a 24 hour service.

It's fine you have a private service you like. It's fine if others enjoy using the Minnie Van service.

Has anyone actually asked the question about how will the Minnie Van MCO service accommodate a booking with a late flight delay?

I don't think we should just assume anything.
