If it kills me I will get an update done!
Here is the dumb drama around the homestead:
Carsyn's leg is jacked. They cannot do an MRI because she has an implant in her lower back that works like a pacemaker for her kidneys. This means no go on any MRI. They have had to do some creative CT work and now know she sprained her PCL and tore her meniscus.
How bad - we do not know for sure but her doc got her a new leg brace yesterday and has asked her to come back in 2 weeks, see how much the body can heal on it's own and then, do surgery on what they need to.
Her and Ben are still happy. Prom is 2 weekends from now and she wants to tan a few times and get her nails done on both feet and fingers!
Baylor is on both the U14 and U15 soccer teams as a goalie for our town. This means when track meets are not happening he has soccer games M-Th solid. This plus practice equals me not home much. He is needing to take a summer class to be eligible for a regular algebra math class at the high school. He is ready to go to the semi-formal at the middle school with black pants, purple shirt and a snazzy fedora style hat. Trying to talk me into getting him a tie and suspenders.
Treyner is home, happy, trying to sell his jeep to get a truck and working odd and ends jobs. Leaving for AZ next week to see Taylor. He will be sharing an apartment with 3 people in the fall. His BF and BF's girlfriend will be in one room, Treyner will have his own room and a good friend who happens to be a girl, will be in the other. The other 3 are great students and not big parties so they have rules in place about parties and such. We shall see how that works.
Dan is beyond swamped at work - tons of late hours and I am just happy to see him when I can.
I - have been really proud of myself because I have been going to the YMCA for 9 days now and killing myself slowly in water aerobics for about 1 1/2 hours a day. Thus my mornings which usually got me here, are gone.
My Dad is doing better, spent Mother's Day with him actually at the National Cemetery here and a sculpture garden. Carsyn took some amazing pics I will have to share with you guys. My Dad looks much older than his 61 years. Makes me so sad and yet once his leg heals, he can rebuild his strength, get some sun and start a new life being healthier than he has been in a long time.
I think that is about it! It is raining here and hoping soccer will get canceled for tonight if the fields are not playable. (Is that evil?)
