"Personally, I think I would make a great stripper!" 8/10 The End

I hope you're having and amazing time with all of the kids home. I know doing all of Treyner's laundry with him must have sucked but I bet it makes you feel like he still needs his momma.....I think I would like that feeling after a first year at college. HaHa I may have to wait until that day happens (and I may change my mind about liking helping with laundry). Happy Mothers Day!

Dawn - I don't know how I missed this TR. I read the other two and then I must have started this one, but didn't comment and so it never appeared on my subscription list. Anyway, glad to finally be on board. I love reading your reports.

I hope everyone is feeling better and you are enjoying your weekend. I hope you have a fanstastic Mothers Day.

Edited - While reading this today I realized (duh - didn't put two and two together) that you will be going to WDW again in October. We're going to be there from Oct 2 - 11 staying at BCV will our dates overlap at all? I think I remember Stacybean saying that she will be there beginning Oct 10. I'd love to be able to meet you two.

Dan saw this through someones website and showed me and I about died laughing! The Dad walking in his tightie not whitie's was the funniest. I hope when the singer gets rich and famous his Dad is not one of his back up dancer's! :lmao:

If it kills me I will get an update done!

Here is the dumb drama around the homestead:

Carsyn's leg is jacked. They cannot do an MRI because she has an implant in her lower back that works like a pacemaker for her kidneys. This means no go on any MRI. They have had to do some creative CT work and now know she sprained her PCL and tore her meniscus.

How bad - we do not know for sure but her doc got her a new leg brace yesterday and has asked her to come back in 2 weeks, see how much the body can heal on it's own and then, do surgery on what they need to.

Her and Ben are still happy. Prom is 2 weekends from now and she wants to tan a few times and get her nails done on both feet and fingers!

Baylor is on both the U14 and U15 soccer teams as a goalie for our town. This means when track meets are not happening he has soccer games M-Th solid. This plus practice equals me not home much. He is needing to take a summer class to be eligible for a regular algebra math class at the high school. He is ready to go to the semi-formal at the middle school with black pants, purple shirt and a snazzy fedora style hat. Trying to talk me into getting him a tie and suspenders.

Treyner is home, happy, trying to sell his jeep to get a truck and working odd and ends jobs. Leaving for AZ next week to see Taylor. He will be sharing an apartment with 3 people in the fall. His BF and BF's girlfriend will be in one room, Treyner will have his own room and a good friend who happens to be a girl, will be in the other. The other 3 are great students and not big parties so they have rules in place about parties and such. We shall see how that works.

Dan is beyond swamped at work - tons of late hours and I am just happy to see him when I can.

I - have been really proud of myself because I have been going to the YMCA for 9 days now and killing myself slowly in water aerobics for about 1 1/2 hours a day. Thus my mornings which usually got me here, are gone.

My Dad is doing better, spent Mother's Day with him actually at the National Cemetery here and a sculpture garden. Carsyn took some amazing pics I will have to share with you guys. My Dad looks much older than his 61 years. Makes me so sad and yet once his leg heals, he can rebuild his strength, get some sun and start a new life being healthier than he has been in a long time.

I think that is about it! It is raining here and hoping soccer will get canceled for tonight if the fields are not playable. (Is that evil?) :rolleyes1

Chapter Eight: Chocolate Cake and Toilet Paper Bombs

We got to Olive Garden

and the line was outside but we did not care. Honestly, it felt so great to have everyone together and it was such a beautiful night out that there was not a single complaint.

I suggested to Carsyn and Treyner that we pretended it was Nick's birthday. :yay:

It is a tradition in this house to embarrass the newest member and since we had Taylor for a week, Nick was an easy target.

That and the fact he is pale in complexion, turns beat red at the drop of a hat and is quiet and reserved made it all the more entertaining.

Once seated, the ordering ran smooth. Dan, Treyner and Nick got the Alfredo Pizza.

Dan and Treyner said it was not as good as they had enjoyed in the past. The crust was not done enough.

Baylor and I ordered spaghetti - mine with Italian Sausage and Baylor with meatballs.

Taylor and Carsyn ordered Fettuccine Alfredo.

The food was great and Treyner was getting stared :3dglasses at by a girl, eating with her mother, who was sitting diagonal from us.

Carsyn noticed the stare down and in particular the daggers she was throwing at Taylor. pirate:

This was when I think I began to adore  Taylor more than just as Treyner's girlfriend.

She is feisty.

She is spirited.

She is nutty with a hint of toffee at the end.

She whipped her head around and stared back at the girl and said to our table she was ready to take the girl in the back kitchen and pour Chianti in her eye. Find a hardened bread-stick in the corner and poke her larynx out. :teacher:

I told her to simmer down.

Play it cool. :cool2:

Then when she heads to the bathroom, quietly get up, follow and then, wad up some toilet paper, get it wet and lob it over the stall at her.

That's right.

I have been known to lob a few toilet paper bombs in my day and the best part is when you follow the first up with a second one in rapid fire succession.

You see the enemy gets whapped with the first dripping, slimy wad of paper, compost goo and then they look up like "What the Hades is going on here Batman?" You have the perfect opportunity to hit them with a second one, right in the chops. :lmao:

It's awesome.

My sister does not think so buts her sense of humor is non existent. :sad2:

Which almost sweetens the pot in some small disturbed way.

Anywho, we ate, boxed up the leftovers and then ordered two birthday cakes.

If you have not had Olive Garden's $8 (I am guessing but it's about there) celebration cake - you are missing out.

We were huge Chocolate Lasagna cake fans in the day.

Then some dumb person working at headquarters decided to go all fancy with Raspberry Tiramisu and the lasagna cake was no more. For Treyner's 13th birthday I had spent $60 on a sheet of it. He adored it.

So for a year we boycotted Olive Garden. :snooty:

Ok.

We didn't.

But we sure biached every time we did eat there about how much we hated the fact it was not there.

Then, one spring day, a light shone from heaven  upon our table and a nice waitress decided to tell us the cake that was new to replace the old Birthday style cake, was very close to the chocolate lasagna cake.

We were skeptical.

We thought she was attempting to pacify our whining.

But glory be - it is a close second :cheer2: and now, it's always someone's birthday at Olive Garden.

So the pile of 20 faux Tuscan wannabes came out and sang. :dance3:

It was awesome.

Nick looked like he may cry. Or wet himself. The kid was so full from his pizza he only enjoyed a sliver after all that.

Treyner finished the rest of his cake.

Not his piece.

His cake.

That kid loves some cake.

Not quite sure where he got that from. :rolleyes1

We were close to La Quinta where we stayed that night.
GSP_LQAN-exter-1.jpg

Again, the plan was to have the boys head back to the dorm and the girls and Dan and I were sharing a room.

Well we checked in and they said: "Both your rooms are ready."

:confused3

I assured them we had one room. They said we were checked for two and since it was past 4 p.m. by a long ways, the night manager was forcing us to pay for the second room no matter what. In fact it had been charged to the card.

Tried to call corporate office at La Quinta to no avail. It was Friday night late and we had two rooms.

So Dan and I got a room to ourselves ( :woohoo: ) and the kids piled in the second one.

It was nice actually because we got some serious sleep and the kids could stay up, chit chat and not bother us. Carsyn and Taylor bunked, Treyner and Nick bunked and Baylor, took the extra bedding from our room and slept on the floor.

The next morning Treyner had to leave by 6 a.m. to bring Nick to the airport and we needed to be on the road to Spartanburg S.C. and Treyner's team games the next day.

Then...

The Keys!!!! :woohoo:

All your great stories have pushed me out of lurkersville. I am hooked. I cant wait for the next update! Thanks for the entertainment.:goodvibes
