Holy Moly Carsyn That was quite an injury!! I love the pictures on the sidelines where she is smiling soo funny. My 14 year old daughter plays lacrosse and has been checked in the head twice so far this season and only played 4 games!! Girls sports rock!!

Dawn, I must let you know....

While at the store today to get cookie dough, I decided that I'd rather make your NutterRoos. So I pulled up your TR on my phone, scrolled through 4 pages until I found the recipe, and bought $45 worth of ingredients. (We don't cook much, so I had absolutely nothing on your list, except for flour )

We returned home, and I've spent the last 2.5 hours in the kitchen making cookie dough, cookies, and filling, and then assembling them. We ended up with 38 finished NutterRoos, plus 2 cookies we'd eaten while we were waiting. DH & I both ate one finished NutterRoo (they are AMAZING), and the other 36 are going with us to a BBQ tonight. I'll let you know tomorrow how our friends receive them.

So....I happened to be reading this beside my boyfriend, who's watching the tv. At the first picture of Kizzy, I let out a soft "oh." The next "oooaaww." The sleeping picture got an "AAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" until finally Taylor turns around and goes "what the HECK are you looking at?" Hee hee, he gets annoyed when I look at puppies, because I am forever trying to convince him that we need a dog. (I might add that he is reading this over my shoulder as I'm typing and he looks at me, mimes typing and says in a high voice "so anyways I like Disney...") boys.....

I'm sorry to hear that Carsyn got hurt. I gave myself a black eye ice skating the Friday before I started band camp my junior year. That was fun to explain to everyone.

The pic of the 2 of them sleeping is sweet! It doesn't surprise me that your bigger guy Ace is dealing with the new one so well, goldens are very adaptable and tolerant. My MIL has one and she lets my little nephews lay on her and play all around her.
She runs through his mouth and plays in his teeth and he just hangs out like he is at the dentist. He is not even 1 1/2 yet and she has actually calmed him down. I think he looks at her and goes, "Really? Do you need to act like you are on speed?"

Skyler is adorable! She's going to be a handfull one day, or probably already is.
She is really good most of the time for me cause I don't let her think the sun and moon rise or set on her.

My sister told me good luck keeping a pony or anything in her hair.

I said, just tell her it has to stay in.

Then, I turned to Skyler as she was ripping another one out at that moment and said, "Hey! You have to leave those in your hair cause if you take them out your hair will fall out and you will look like an old man."

She looked at me sort of like, "Yeah right!" and I showed her on the ponytail a few strands of her golden locks!

Her eyes got wayyyy big and she handed me the contraband to put back in!

My sister said, "You can't tell her that!"

I said, "I just did!"

This whole weekend minus once when she was trying to sleep in her car-seat and asked to take her pony out, she left those suckers in!

The biggest issues with kids is usually the parents. I know I can blame myself for a ton of the things that I am not happy about regarding mine.

You can always look back at what you showed was important, what you let them get away with etc...

Awww Kizzy is super cute! I have a chihuahua/pekingese mix too. He's 13 lbs and has more of the Pekingese look to him where Kizzy looks more like the Chihuahua. If she's anything like my Jasper she is super sweet and cuddly and pretty laid back most of the time. Here's pics of mine:

Kizzy has a coat like a lab currently - and I was so glad to see pics of your dog with the ears still flopped over! We hope Kizzy's always flop! The look different and Kizzy will only get to be a few pounds bigger!

Carsyn your hair looks great in those pictures! (well, you look great in general, haha, but i'm lovin the hair!)Her hair is naturally curly like mine but she has found some new product that relaxes the curl a bit and I love it long as well! The first one he told Skyler to run him over but she wouldn't do it so he then moved it on top of him and laid down and we told her to smile.

That was when on her own, she decided to stand up, and hold her dress out!

Not totally for you guys (she so knew they were coming in here... and she was laughing at the comments of "now your legit" from her teammates!) They will be proudly displayed on her senior slide show and photo wall!

Kizzy is really happy in her carrier and on the go. I need to show you all the carrier we got for her. If you are busy - a big dog is absolutely a no go. Me being home is the only way we can have Ace - although he needs to go potty a whole lot less often then Miss. Tiny bladder!

I like the fact she has a coat of hair not just silky skin. She is also not a yipper but has found a small bark she puts out when trying to intimidate. Maybe having a bigger dog to show her what to do cuts off the yipping?

We did finally get to dress shopping yesterday!

First dress she tried on fit like a dream and we were sold on it! She tried a few others...even went to the Mall of America but that first dress was the winner!

It is a sapphire blue, bunching throughout and above the knee. She is planning on doing a longer dress next year but wanted short and fun for her Jr. Prom.

It has a "diamond" rectangular broach on the chest, dead center and off the shoulder stole versus sleeves or straps.

The best part...marked $164, on sale for $116 and then at the register...was told it actually was marked down further to $58!

Shoes we found for about $35 and are gorgeous as well! She wants to go through my jewelry and use what we have first before buying anything new. That I will always say about Carsyn - thoughtful about money and not a waster! I am so appreciative of that!

She has her camera with the pic she took of the dress...I will see if she will allow it to be on here now or if she will make you all wait a month more for the big reveal! I think she will have her hair, half up and half down - Carly (Treyner's ex/prom date from last year) is great with hair and I think she is going to come over to do Carsyn's hair!

Who would have thought it would be so easy!!!

Really need to work on the garage today and get a ton of things organized for a sale...I will try and get the next update here done tonight - if not, tomorrow for sure!
