The new puppy is so cute! My name is Kim and my brother in law has always called me Kizzie, refering to roots.!
yay on the prom dress. Same with my daughter for Junior Prom. went with a short dress. All the girls were so jealous of her, with their big long annoying dresses.
Senior Prom same thing. First dress was the winner. Hopefully it will be as easy with a wedding dress. (when the time comes) (later,much much later).

Nope, mine is a big ol' scaredy cat...she'll jump out of a deep sleep at the tiniest of movements! She would be confused by Kizzy and why someone made a dog that small.

Glad Carsyn found a prom dress and yay for saving money while you were at it!

Carsyn has a friend in her prom group...who just broke up with her boyfriend. Just wants to go with a good friend to prom.

I am so excited to have Treyner and Carsyn going together...Pictures and more pictures!!!!

They will have a great time I am sure...(and Dan feels a bit better about someone besides Carsyn driving the Mustang in the cities for Dinner since she has yet to learn to drive a stick!! )

I'm sure they will have a great time, over here manual transmission (stickshift) is far more common than automatic transmission so that is 'normal'. My DS is 18 and had never driven my auotmatic but only DH's manual - due to insurance reasons, my car is newer and more expensive.

that's so cool they will be going together. I actually had a similar thing happen to me my senior year. A group of us were going to go together but 1 of my friends didn't have a date so about a week ahead, she backed out. My brother came home from college a couple days later and heard that she had decided not to go and offered to go with her. He owned a tux, she had a dress and they got flowers at the last minute and it all worked out fine!

It's so great finding a prom dress! I LOVED my dress from last year, and it was like y'alls....originally $165, and by the end of the putting it on hold and scrambling to get money it was only $85!!! I brought it with me to ECU...only wore it for Halloween though.

I would love to go when we go down in July but I can't find it in the yellow pages. By the way I love all 3 of your trip reports so far. And your boys are so handsome and Carsyn is just beauiful. Hi Dawn, the pics of the dogs are precious! Poor Carsyn, her head looks painful, yet she is still smiling! Last year my 2 daughters went to the prom and their brother was asked by a senior. He came back too. It was really neat taking pics of all of them! I cannot wait to see the pics of the dress-very good deal. Christina is wearing red, which is a stretch for her-she only wears black and gray.

Another lurker coming out of the woodwork! I love your reports! I am constantly smiling or laughing when reading them.

I'm in Knoxville so I think of your reports every time we pass the big white cross/porn shop!

AND while we were down in the World last week, we were in line at TOT and there was this HUGE group of young guys (18 of them). They were talking about what they were going to do for the picture and someone mentioned pulling their shirts up. The CM overheard them and said, the ride WILL stop if you do that.....

Well we get in another elevator and right before we drop, the ride stops and it's announced TWICE " please keep all articles of clothing on" Why they went ahead and did that beats me! But I had to think of the Space Mountain picture!
