I really love that even at the peak of her injury she was smiling!
She is going to be a heartbreaker (your niece- not my dog- we don't allow her to date)
Shannon, Maggie is gorgeous!

This has to be one of the cutest things ever!!
My favorite pic of the day for sure!
Thank ya! Although I had nothing to do with it minus sharing the same genes as my sister - the cute part must skip generations!I usually prefer larger dogs too, but Oh wow that little puppy is too cute!
We were never going to say no as soon as we saw it!
The pic of the 2 of them sleeping is sweet! It doesn't surprise me that your bigger guy Ace is dealing with the new one so well, goldens are very adaptable and tolerant. My MIL has one and she lets my little nephews lay on her and play all around her.
She runs through his mouth and plays in his teeth and he just hangs out like he is at the dentist. He is not even 1 1/2 yet and she has actually calmed him down. I think he looks at her and goes, "Really? Do you need to act like you are on speed?"
Your little neice is beautiful! My grandkids will be fuggly!
I just KNEW you would end up with that puppy!!! Yeah, yeah. I am a softie for animals for sure.
That picture of the two dogs sleeping is precious and Skylar is SUPER cute! She even has a Y name too!! Good point!
They are adorable!!I love the picture of the two dogs sleeping together...too cute!
As long as your puppy id not go after Kizzy - it would be fine! Ace is over protective of her!!If I could I would bring my dog (22 pound beagle/bassett hound mix) around for a play date!
Skyler is adorable! She's going to be a handfull one day, or probably already is.
She is really good most of the time for me cause I don't let her think the sun and moon rise or set on her.
My sister told me good luck keeping a pony or anything in her hair.
I said, just tell her it has to stay in.
Then, I turned to Skyler as she was ripping another one out at that moment and said, "Hey! You have to leave those in your hair cause if you take them out your hair will fall out and you will look like an old man."
She looked at me sort of like, "Yeah right!" and I showed her on the ponytail a few strands of her golden locks!
Her eyes got wayyyy big and she handed me the contraband to put back in!
My sister said, "You can't tell her that!"
I said, "I just did!"
This whole weekend minus once when she was trying to sleep in her car-seat and asked to take her pony out, she left those suckers in!
The biggest issues with kids is usually the parents. I know I can blame myself for a ton of the things that I am not happy about regarding mine.
You can always look back at what you showed was important, what you let them get away with etc...
Terri
Thanks and I have not forgotten the headband stuff! Carsyn will be back today! The pics were AWESOME!
Only if she was attached to a bomb and then, depended on the size of the bomb! How could you resist?
Kizzy has a coat like a lab currently - and I was so glad to see pics of your dog with the ears still flopped over! We hope Kizzy's always flop! The look different and Kizzy will only get to be a few pounds bigger!Awww Kizzy is super cute! I have a chihuahua/pekingese mix too. He's 13 lbs and has more of the Pekingese look to him where Kizzy looks more like the Chihuahua. If she's anything like my Jasper she is super sweet and cuddly and pretty laid back most of the time. Here's pics of mine:

oooh she's a prop! i was a hooker (#2) Bet your mom was proud!
Carsyn your hair looks great in those pictures! (well, you look great in general, haha, but i'm lovin the hair!)Her hair is naturally curly like mine but she has found some new product that relaxes the curl a bit and I love it long as well! All of those pics are so cute, i love the one of Baylor being crushed by the truck, hahah. The first one he told Skyler to run him over but she wouldn't do it so he then moved it on top of him and laid down and we told her to smile.
That was when on her own, she decided to stand up, and hold her dress out!
Can I admit I like cleaning up Kizzy's #2's a whole lot better than Ace's!!OMW!! Kizzy and Skylar are absolutley ADORABLE!!
Treyner hasn't seen her in person yet and swears he will not be one out by her! Ha!Awwww I knew you were going to end up with the puppy!!
Tracy
And Kizzy! I love that name!!!!
Love it!
Sarah
Only time will tell...ready to sign the papers! If I get adopted, will the gorgeous gene rub off on me or is it too late?
Not totally for you guys (she so knew they were coming in here... and she was laughing at the comments of "now your legit" from her teammates!) They will be proudly displayed on her senior slide show and photo wall!I know, right!!! "I know you're gushing blood, and you have huge gashes in your forehead, and your arms are scraped up, and you're holding ice on your head so it won't swell to the size of a watermelon, but smile pretty for mommy's picture so the nice people on the DIS can see!"![]()
Kizzy is really happy in her carrier and on the go. I need to show you all the carrier we got for her. If you are busy - a big dog is absolutely a no go. Me being home is the only way we can have Ace - although he needs to go potty a whole lot less often then Miss. Tiny bladder!DD1 would love us to have another dog but we just don;t have the right lifestyle anymore so it would be cruel to the dog.
I had not headed to the restroom yet this morning and had to do the tinkle dance the whole way there after reading that one!!She is going to be a heartbreaker (your niece- not my dog- we don't allow her to date)
Glad you found us and I look forward to seeing more of you!!Subbing in.........I LOVE your writing style and can't wait to hear more!
You need to post some pictures of Ben so we can check out the boyfriend. I will try to get some tonight!
LOVE love love that picture of Ace and Kizzy. That is freakin' adorable. Reminded me of this one of Maggie & Murphy:

I can't believe Murphy was ever that tiny!!!
Dawn, I must let you know....
While at the store today to get cookie dough, I decided that I'd rather make your NutterRoos. So I pulled up your TR on my phone, I would love a pic of that! This may have made my whole day!!!scrolled through 4 pages until I found the recipe, and bought $45 worth of ingredients. (We don't cook much, so I had absolutely nothing on your list, except for flour. )
Never would have thought of paring them together - but ya know how much space big dogs need to play together in - Ace just lays around and lets Kizzy come at him! That sleeping buddies is the cutest picture ever!!! Kizzy is adorable and while we are big dog people too (I grew up with Great Danes and currently have a yellow lab and boxer), Kizzy looks so sweet.
It would have been harder to explain if you got the black eye at band camp!I'm sorry to hear that Carsyn got hurt. I gave myself a black eye ice skating the Friday before I started band camp my junior year. That was fun to explain to everyone.![]()
Awesome!!! So glad people liked them!!!Dawn, those NutterRoos were a HUGE hit tonight! The sober people really liked them, and the drunk ones couldn't get enough!!!I was told by two different co-workers that I have to make those & bring them to her BBQ in a few weeks.
Thanks for the recipe!
I like the fact she has a coat of hair not just silky skin. She is also not a yipper but has found a small bark she puts out when trying to intimidate. Maybe having a bigger dog to show her what to do cuts off the yipping?I want a chihuahua in the worst way!
Thanks - the red head takes after me!!!Oh my gosh! That dog is so adorable! And that last pic of her with Ace is precious!![]()
