We made chocolate chip/butterscotch cookies as well and usually do egg salad and an Italian pasta salad. I just hate eating FF and it adds so much to the cost of the trip. I am proud to say we packed no pop, only water. I think maybe 4 or 5 were bought for caffeine on the long drive. The nice part of the bin is kids are lazy! We still had food when we arrived at Marathon because nobody bothered to dig through to find the other things. Next time I will pack a bit less, we had 2 coolers!!!

I swear I fear running out of food more than anyone I know! I was in 2nd grade and we had a bad snowstorm and were stuck with no heat or electricity minus a fireplace at a neighbors for 2 weeks. There were 8 families there and food was scarce after a few days.

Not sure if that is why or not but it is the only reason I can think of for always over packing food.

Most was eaten but I could have easily bought at a Walmart as we went vs so much snack stuff the whole trip.

Sorry about what happened to Baylor in high school we kept getting bomb threats and had to be in lockdown I couldn't imagine actually being that close to a real threat I hope your family and Baylor are doing okay
