Chapter 24. And the Winners are....and other fun stuff......

So I survived the 114 degree heat of Scottsdale, AZ.

It was a great trip, except for an afternoon when I became "the drunk" of the drunk story...more on that later....

and more pix and stories of the trip that can only be titled, "Sunburned, Overserved and busted smoking a cigarette."

Thanks to the almost 20 of you that participated in "Guess my itinerary game". Some of your answers were quite entertaining...I may need to post a few of the funnier ones, if that's okay.

There were almost 20 participants,but about 6 of you participated almost daily. It was very, very close.....

I can't believe it! It looks like hard work, dedication, and misguided priorities pays off.

I had a lot of flat Winkers sightings, but I did get a little lazy there.....I remember putting something like "all around World Showcase" when I didn't feel like writing them all down. And it was a good thing that phase of the game occurred on a Saturday when I had time to go through the TR and look for that sweet smiling face.

Thank you so much for the great prize! I would have done it for nothing -- just for the fun of figuring out those clues. (But I will still pm you my information!!!)

Oh boy! A mini TR! I have some tales of being "overserved" myself, so I'm interested to hear what happened. There's something about being out in the sun and drinking that always seems to result in trouble.

Out from lurking to say what a fun game that was to play. Thank you to Wendy for managing it all. I loved it and it allowed my DH to get into all things DIS. I'm honored to be in the same league as those winners and top scorers. Especially since I am a newbie. Back into hiding, glad AZ was a great trip. What did you do...heat your cold/cough up high enough in the heat to burn it out and then drown out what ever remained with alcohol?

Glad you guys had a great time in AZ, my parents are going there for 2 weeks in November. I'm SO jealous!! But I'm headed to Disney shortly after so really WHO CARES
