Looked promising, started out good..moved WAY too slow and the BIG break it took between episodes, at one point, just killed it in the ratings. People just forgot it was on.

Stunk that there was no closure, too.

But, if you watched it...you know who Blair Underwood is. He played the president.

Blair Underwood is one of those "THAT GUY!" actors. Say his name...lots of people don't know who you're talking about. Show his picture, say his name, and you get "OH! THAT GUY!".

I just said that after seeing that picture on imdb!

Best Mexican food I have ever had was in San Antonio!! It was many years ago, somewhere near the Riverwalk. I agree, you should not go to San Angel. :)

I also had the best Mexican food ever at a place on Riverwalk in San Antonio....and the big 'ole margarita wasn't too bad either ;)

I'm just a little disappointed about the alcohol part. Don't get me wrong....I love me a good glass of wine :rotfl: but is it really necessary to "get the full effect"? I'm thinking that BOG is going to be magical enough without the "buzz".

I'm disappointed too and I've never even been to Disney! I like to have a glass of wine with dinner (just 1 of course ;) )but theres always people that will over do it. You'll have people getting drunk and acting stupid. As it is family vacations can sometimes be stressful (especially if your in-laws are with you :scared1:) add alcohol to the mix and it can be a recipe for disaster! I've read that you can find people acting like drunk ding-dongs at Epcot but again, I've never been so maybe it's not really that bad. Hopefully, everybody will act like responsible adults :scratchin.

Changes at BoG with allowing wine/beer don't make me upset. Not like people are going to make reservations 180 days in advance just to get drunk. There won't be a bar in there. Plus, waitstaff will be moving us through our meal so the next peeps can sit (no lingering.)

Let's remember -- Mrs. Potts sings, "Wine's been poured..." so consider having wine with your meal part of the theme'ing.

Yep, agree with this. The idea of a dry park is silly to me. Not having bars, yes. But people will get intoxicated if they want to, with or without Walt's blessing. Americans have such an immoderate sense of moderation and alcohol, leftover legacy from the Puritans.

Very few people will get drunk on a glass of wine with dinner ... and many more will enjoy it. Usually its harder to get more than tipsy with a full meal anyways.

I am dying to see the full menu WITH prices! We're probably paying oop for this meal rather than using a TS credit due to the fact that we're eating at Le Cellier 2.25 hours prior to eating at BOG! I know....I know.....but I can't change either one and I can't give either one up. I mean we are just a little over 2 months out at this point. Surely there's a menu somewhere with prices...wouldn't they be going to the printer by now???

Add me to the list! We will be checking into AOA-LM on 12/1 for 10 fun-filled days.

Oh boy -- I've just booked another ADR, which will bring me to 11 credits although we only have 9... gee i hope my xmas bonus is good...

I just had to squeeze in an ADR for 50's Primetime Cafe on Jan 1 after I watched some Youtube videos of the wait staff....I had another one for Jan 5, but I got one for BOG that day and need to cancel the 50's PTC.

I'm going to need the seatbelt extender for the trip home! ;)

I'm still up, but its not so late here as I'm 6 hours behind y'all.

Sorry but I'm an Android kind of gal (my digital <3 belongs to Google) ... though the lack of qwertys on all the current phones with decent specs is annoying the heck out of me since I'm due for an upgrade before my trip and can't find a phone I like ... and have been waiting to buy my TouringPlans subscription til I find my new phone to download it to. Sigh. First world problems, right? ;) Enjoy your new iPhone 5!

(See how I brought it back on topic to Disney trips right there ... ? Lol.)

I'm an Apple boy all the way, but I think part of my bias is having worked for them for 2+ years (I just left in February), lol.

I have DISBoards, Touring Plans, Disney Mobile Magic and the OLP WDW Transportation Wizard (http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/aspx/twiz.aspx) on my phone right now...just wondering what others use.

Catching up .... I'm not sure how I feel on the whole wine/beer debate. While I'll probably not eat at BOG because most of the menu doesn't appeal to me but I think it's ok to have a glass of whatever with dinner. I'm sure Disney is testing the waters with BOG but I doubt it will ever be a take out option in that park which I think is good too.

IPhone5, DH wants one but we aren't getting it quite yet. I'll be happy with the lower prices on the 4 ($99 for a 4S and free 4 with upgrade). I'm still a 3G phone owner and am ready for an upgrade

On another note, it's Friday!! Today is DS2's first day of preschool (mommy &me) class. Why do I feel like its my first day of school all over again. After I put DS5 on the bus I'm packing us up for a weekend at the shore. Probably one of our last ones for the summer/fall. Hope everyone has a great day ad weekens

OMG. You were seriously still up at 3 in the morning waiting for the presale of a phone?????? Ok, I'm sorry but we cant be friends anymore. :lmao: So did you get one? I still have a dumbphone, but I do love my ipad. I have the new Disney app. I forget what it's called now and too lazy to look it up. My Disney Experience maybe.

Haha you're funny! Nope, I'm due an upgrade so I'll get an Iphone4s because it will go down to 99cents now that the Iphone5 is out :p

Here are some FREE apps I like:

White Noise app on itunes - great for helping you sleep, relax etc

Adobe Photoshop Express is a basic but cool little tool for your photos and PHOTOSYNTH app this might be really good for Disney, its a panorama app and is really cool to watch your photos take shape, love this one (and its by Microsoft *shocker* because its free)

I love to cook so of course I have allrecipes.com app

You gotta have Paper Toss! Its a couple of years old now but they are adding new levels to it all the time.

Evernote - one of the best note taking tools, thought it might come in handy for you juggling school, Disney & fabulousness ;)

Wikipanion - app version of wikipedia, kinda handy I like it.

Don't forget to download your Iphone flashlight app! I love this ... its really bright haha

GasBuddy- helps you find the cheapest gas in your area.

And I don't know why but Ihandy Level Free .... its a spirit level on your phone. I have absolutely NO need for it whatsoever but I just LOVE LOVE LOVE going around and saying 'Hmmm, is this level?' and then using my Iphone level. Stupid but great :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Yep, I'm an app junkie and have tons more- they are just my free ones that spring to mind :)

Tofubeast - Renamed my pre trip report thanks to you! :)

Also, did I not see on anyones snack list a sundae from Ghiradelli's? Those are so yummy!

The fabulous thing about Disney is you walk so much that you burn off what you eat. Its like magic, its like everything has 0 calories. I weighed exactly the same when I got back and yet, I ate as though a food ban was about to be issued :teeth:
