I did see about DFB's holiday guide and I'll probably get it once it's released (soooo do not need to add any more snacks into the plan but, as usual, my eyes are bigger than my stomach)

Also......recieved my Mickey Mail yesterday :cool1: So I think I was at 35 days yesterday when it came.

I'm at 30 days today.....surely my Mickey Mail will be in the box when I get home?!? We're upgrading to DxDDP so I will welcome the new publication :). I wonder when it comes out and how much it is? Is is a downloadable publication? Do I *need* it?

Anyone else excited that with the 1st MVMCP of the year being tomorrow night, 48 hrs from now, all the pics of this year's MVMCP specific merchandise will be making their rounds?

Just think about it... Shirts, pins, blankets, household items, decorations... AWESOME! :santa:

I can't wait to see! I'll be stuck home all day on Saturday. My 20 yr old ds is getting two impacted wisdom teeth cut out tomorrow soi'm playing nurse all weekend

Anyone decorating their hotel doors? I will be doing it! I been thinking about flying to Orlando, airline tickets I found were pretty cheap, but still little over 200 more than driving, plus then I will have to use the buses with two little ones, my sister just flew out there for Halloween, she said the buses took a while, so how about all ya all who's driving and who's flying?
I'm from Chicago a little suburb outside of Chicago no big difference :)

I don't have a problem with Disney transportation at all! I think it is part of the fun :).

I amazing a grapevine MM wreath for our resort door at POR....and thinking about putting lights on it too but we'll see. Ian work on that this weekend

4 weeks until I will most likely be checking in or already in Epcot!!!

I am starting to feel a little stressed about the things I have to do before we go... anyone else feeling that way??

We are doing Christmas on my side the saturday after Thanksgiving so I have to finish up the gifts for that. I am also doing some craft gifts for the ladies in my class and kids in dd class at bible study.

Gooooooooddddddd Moooorrrnnnniiinnnnngggg DISers!

I would be in total and complete shock. Like can't talk, breathe, move, slap-me-I'm-stuck, shock... I'd probably say something completely stupid or worse ask him "why?"... yea, that would be me... :faint:

I so hope if he should shock you that someone is nearby to photograph your reaction! :lmao: My DH was actually scared I'd say no when he proposed because I didn't say anything at all after he asked. I was totally surprised. We had discussed marriage but I had no idea he was going to ask then!

My DH and I dated for 9 years before we got engaged. He was very wishy washy about the whole marriage idea and I was ready years before he was. So he finally proposes and the first words out of my mouth are, "Are you sure?". :lmao: We got married less than 3 months later, so he had no time to change his mind.

Wow. That is a very busy day. :thumbsup2

My parents finally got their MM yesterday - that was 29 days for us

Why does the DIS app force me to hit return before I can post a new message? If I don't, I end up with a line of text that I can't get back to. Aargh.

Anyway - I need some Disney scrapbooking-related suggestions. DS10's teachers want him to keep a journal for his trip and do a presentation when he gets back. So I figured I'd get a journaling app so that he could write and take pictures in the park while we're in line or in restaurants or whatever. But DS had other ideas. He wants to do a Smash book type journal. (he did one last summer for a class at BigPicture.) But Im worried he won't have time (or focus) most days to sit down and write. So we compromised.

Now I have to find a) an app that will allow printing and sufficient formatting to paste the typed journaling into the book and (b) a journal. I'm leaning against a Smash book because the pages aren't lined and they don't really come in Disney colors. But I don't know. Maybe I should get a plain lined journal and let him decorate with my Disney paper and stickers. Or maybe I should get a Smash book and print a stack of lined pages to paste in and just ignore the color scheme. I don't really want to make my own book from scratch.I figure we'll just use a store-bought journal if some kind and fill out the pages in order and then use the remainder for future trips.

So any suggestions on iPhone apps, Smash book alternatives and also travel journaling prompts would be most appreciated. Also suggestions about why Im probably over thinking this and how I could make it simpler would not go amiss. ;)

On the plus side I already have a ton of Disney paper supplies and a tiny Polaroid printer that prints sticker pictures. So that will help. Though it just occurred to me that we might end up fighting over ephemera since I do Project Life. ;)

I would buy a regular journal type book and sort of make your own Smash type book. Let him journal on regular paper then cut it out to apply it to the book. That way he can rewrite or fix spelling errors without messing up the book. You can adhere pictures in as they are needed.....I'm not a hybrid scrapbooker so I couldn't help with the apps or anything. Have him write about his day each evening if you want it to be a journal type of scrapbook.

We'll be checking into CSR four weeks from tomorrow.

12/7 - 12/15.

Not stressed, but definitely feeling like I'm adding more to my to-do list than I'm crossing off. Can't wait to kick back at Disney!!

In other words......Jordan is saying he won't be on as much because he'll be more "one-on-one" conversing with his new "gal". :rotfl2:

Not true! I'll still be on here...I check the thread at least once a day! I'm getting less time to reply to everything, but I'm here, I promise!

36 days left for us, but I'm either working or have classes on at least 27 of those days (and possibly a few more...I don't have my December work schedule yet).

I'm really hoping Test Track will have a soft opening the days leading up to the grand opening on Dec. 6. We're leaving on the 5th (we don't even have park tickets that day because we'll be on the way to the airport by 7am) so seems we're missing all the fun... or avoiding the craziness... :thumbsup2

stressed was probably a poor word choice maybe anixous is better??? Yes, can't wait for vacation with the mouse!

Can anyone come up with a good u word that would apply to uncles. I am doing mugs to dd's aunts and uncles from her and the Aunt ones are going to say My Aunties are Awesome!! then have each person initial on th other side and I want to do the same for the uncles, any ideas??

30 days! We used my husband's corporate travel agent so I wonder when we'll get our Mickey Mail.

November and early December are going to be super-busy so I'm trying to make rough touring plans this week. My kids are so young that I'm really just trying to decide what we need to hit first and then go from there. At DHS, I know that we need to do JTA sign up and FP TSMM. What about MK? I'm definitely thinking Fantasyland. I've read speculation that Enchanted Tales with Belle will be busy. My children want to ride Peter Pan first so I'm thinking Peter Pan and then Belle.
