Parley....Will That Get Me On The Ship Any Faster part 2

Hi Guys, we have a load of cadburys creme eggs we are thinking of bringing along. Just wondered if any of our American friends like them?

Would it be wrong of me to just eat the chocolate that surrounds them? :goodvibes I still can't think of a thing to bring from Wisconsin though. I'm afraid I'll be that Parleyer who shows up empty handed. :sad1:

Ummm, is this a trick question??? :confused3

I am with you - haven't started packing, need to package up the FE gifts... But I have started gathering and setting aside the many princess dresses for DD so that is something :)

But I have a weekend in Vegas planned before this cruise and I haven't packed anything for that either. Anniversary weekend in Vegas!!

Been so busy at work I am trying to just catch up here.
- Chocolate sounds yummy!! I don't think Florida has anything special. I think we just add coconut to chocolate and other items and package it as our own ;)
- welcome to the new people. This is our first Disney cruise - traveling with DH and DD (5)
- We decided not to do MNSSHP - we are going to wait and do the Christmas party instead since we have several Halloween activities already planned

I have been gathering and setting aside as well.

Work is crazy (I even have to work tomorrow ) and I'm still doing flood cleanup related activities - new carpet for the stairs being installed tomorrow.

I like MNSSHP but I LOVE MVMCP even more! :lovestruc The parade alone is worth the price of the ticket. Plus I prefer the hot cocoa and cookies to the candy they give out at MNSSHP (not enough chocolate!)

Nope. Sounds like there will be plenty of stuff to eat :grouphug:

Arrrrrrr you kidding.... yes yes yes :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
That would be great popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

CRUISE QUESTION

anyone be interested in doing this on St Maarten?
http://www.bernardstours.com/

They've received good reviews here on the dis.

Bernards Tours were fantastic when we used them a couple of years ago. The stop at Orient Beach is actually "family" friendly, as long as you don't go to the right to "Club Orient". They actually dropped us off in the middle and said from these rocks to the left, you may see an occasional topless (we didn't) sunbather, but from here to the right you will see nudity. So of course after a few drinks, we did go to the right (fully clothed) I might add. And of course we ran into someone from our tour that was not fully clothed. A bit awkward!

But all in all the tour was fun, and a good time was had. The only reason we aren't doing it this time, is we really don't want to do the same exact thing on our 2nd visit to the island. (My 3rd actually). We are renting a car at the pier, visiting the St Maarten zoo, and then spending a little time in Marigot and Phillipsburg before going back to watch Underdog pick up women at the St. Maarten sign :cool1:

I'll pack as many as our weight allowance can stand then. ;)

Okay, PMed you back. I really don't know why my PMs aren't working. If anyone else on the list didn't get my PM (as referred to in my board post/request a page or two back), please let me know on the board. Thanks!

oienfam5 and FarnMor,

If you did not receive my PM either, could you let me know on the board? Thanks!

Yippee!!! :yay: You will be very popular :goodvibes

So, who's in for the mnsshp meet on the 20th? Misty, Char and me? Anyone else??? :yay:

Wish we could join you but we will chowing down and getting sloshed at Victoria & Albert's that night (Tink wanted to dine there :snooty:). I'll be the one in the sunglasses with major hangover at the Epcot meet on Friday :rolleyes1

It sounds great too but we too have a 4 year old DD so we to will be doing the butterfly farm this time.

Hey! We are doing the butterfly farm, too. There's only one tour, right?

Looks like several of us are doing the one whopping excursion that allows kids under 5... Butterfly Farm or Bust!!!!
....ummm wait...bust is the other option...:lmao:

I don't think they cut off online reservations at a certain point - i think they must be booked. Some people have reported that they check every day and sometimes things open up. I would keep checking.

I would head right for Rockin' Bar D as soon as you board to try and pick up a ressie. I believe they have a waiting list as well.

We have only...

Seven days off in a row!

For Palo's, a couple of years we weren't able to get a reservation in advance and had no trouble signing up for a dinner.:thumbsup2 Good luck!:cool1:

Just a few questions and thoughts on the MNSSHP....

We don't arrive into Orlando airport on Friday till 3:20 and none of us except DS(14) have been to the park. My questions are:

How far from the airport is Disney World?
Would it be worth the effort to get us to the park?
Would it be cheaper to rent a car or take a taxi?
Would this be something you would recommend?

Thank you for any help or insight you might have :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9:

They've received good reviews here on the dis.

I've heard very good things about Bernard Tours but we really don't like Marigot (took the two countries tour on our first visit to St. Maarten), so we'll pass.

We're going to pick up a bottle of Mount Gay rum and head to the beach!
