Parley....Will That Get Me On The Ship Any Faster part 2

You know the PC cruise we were on in 08 had it's moments with teens but it wasn't the cruise itself that made it great, it was the people we spent time with. That's with all the cruises we have been on, the people not the cruise or the destinations.

:grouphug::grouphug:

i was reading back and saw that quite a few havnt seen it..hmm, i supposed not everyones seen "Its a Wonderful Life" either.popcorn::

movie time on deck 10 i guess. right after the ladies pillowfight competition.:cloud9:

Wouldn't POTC be much more better? More apropos, savvy?!

We watch that movie every Christmas Eve after Church. I usually never make it until the end.

I have to work tomorrow so I'm going to see if I can time what time the Magic arrives at port (I have to get up at 5 so I hope to watch it sail in while I make my coffee!)

Nobody's said Frau Bucher yet. (cue the whinney)

that cuz i didnt know how to spell it!:rolleyes1:laughing:

yeah, get up at 5 and check that out for us.:thumbsup2 report back here.:surfweb: it came back around 5 on our 09 cruise so we assume its usually around that time.
its a very romantic time when the ship cruises past in the morning...and Robin cant resist my boyish charm.:cool2::cool1:

So, who's in for the mnsshp meet on the 20th? Misty, Char and me? Anyone else??? :yay:

Steve, you're running to the "Welcome Home the Magic" meet on Saturday morning, right? Do you know where to meet us? :)

That is the plan. And yep, I saw the map. We have watched the sail in our last two cruises from Port Canaveral on that "other" line (the one that rhmyes with Farnival), but we were further down just a bit near the Miss Cape Canaveral and Milliken's reef. It looks like you are meeting just past Grill's at Freddie Patrick Park?

its been a busy few days around here..my younger brother just got back from 6 months in Afganland so we all greeted him at the airport..we were all there (cleveland airport) wednesday nite, then he got delayed and missed a connecting flight...so we all had to go back up there yesterday for the "welcome Home" party!:thumbsup2
Good to have him back in the USA! (for good)

Yes please pass along our thanks as well. I did 2 tours in the first Gulf War (Desert shield/storm) and I know what its like over there. Having those boys over there to protect us is why we can take a wonderful Disney Cruise at all! :worship: :worship:

I'll have to pass on the pillowfight, my wife might try to use my belly as her pillow! :scared1:
I have a laptop with an 18" screen, but I"m guessing we would need a larger screen than that.... thoughts? I also have POTC (all 4) that I'll bring!

Wouldn't POTC be much more better? More apropos, savvy?!
See above! :happytv:

I was reading some posts today of guests who were unhappy with their cruise (they just got off the Magic) so it got me to thinking of all of the best things that have happened on vacations and peoples expectations. All of the best memories we have from our Disney vacations were unplanned special moments with those that we love most in the world. The boys running around in water worms at Downtown Disney or looking at bugs they didn't see at home if we stopped at a rest stop on drives down to Disney. Dancing in the street before a parade. It was most important that we were together.

Tell your brother Thank You! We are glad your family has your brother home safe.

We were on the first Magic cruise after she came out of dry dock last year. We were cruising with a bunch of our cruising buddies and we have a FANTASTIC time!!! Then I started reading reviews from other people saying that the cruise was horrible and the ship was a mess and everything was broken. I swear, we thought we must have been on a different cruise! :confused3

What we've learned is that every cruise is the best cruise if you're cruising with great people :grouphug: (not whiners ). I don't want everything to be exactly the same every time - I want new adventures :yay: So whiners beware:

Agree! unplanned events make some of the best memories!:grouphug:
well, except for the unplanned nightmare events at Rockn Bar D.:headache:;)

I'm still hoping for you and Robin for 'Match Your Mate'

could be...after watching Depp and Bloom for a few hrs, the ladies wont be able to resist our advances.pirate:pirate::rotfl2:

Looks like several of us are doing the one whopping excursion that allows kids under 5... Butterfly Farm or Bust!!!!
....ummm wait...bust is the other option...:lmao:

You are right - not a lot of options for us with little kids. We decided to stay on the ship - opted out of the Butterfly Garden and hoping the ship will be empty for us to play.

What is everyone doing on St. Thomas? We are heading to St John for the day.

Same here Melissa. Today will be brutal in the loan world. :scared1: It's not only month end, but quarter end and end of the fiscal year for the bank who bought us in July. Then in December we get to do year end again since we aren't converted quite yet. :scared1::scared1::scared1:

But, the countdown calendar in my office at work keeps me sain. :cloud9:

Ugggh - 12 hour workday today.
But, only 13 more work days until the cruise!!!

We are doing the Catamaran Sail/Snorkle to St. John through DCL.... This will be the 3rd time I have been to St. Thomas, and all three times my excursion has included a trip to St. John.....

Sometimes peoples expectations are so high that even disney couldnt meet them. Lets face it we pay a premium to vacation with disney. Except for a few isolated issues over many vacations service has been great. You can't dwell on the small stuff you have to look at the big picture.

Watching our kids grow up with disney vacations priceless! For those of you cruising with young ones enjoy every minute (don't dwell on the isolated lapses in service). They will be grown before you know it.

My son (18) and daughter (15) talk often about out vacations. Thats what its about...... memories! :)

It is October 1

I will start count down to vacation now.

Need all my fingers and toes.:yay:
