Parley....Will That Get Me On The Ship Any Faster part 2

A not started packing FO perhaps?

Yes this is the Cruise I am on and the date that I am sailing.
About myself: I am young guy named Bill, went on a 4 night disney cruise last year and my wife loved it, doing it again this time for 7 nights. I have 4 children but they are not coming, I am leaving them behind again! (smarter than the average bear)
The last trip was like a honeymoon and we liked it so much my wife decided to make it an annual thing. If they ever had a trivia category with Disney as the topic, it would not be fair because my wife is a Disney Guru.
The things I liked best about the cruise last year was,
1. the shows before dinner
2. the food
3. early morning meeting with Oscar
4. 2 bathrooms in our room
5. a day at sea to relax
6. the crew
7. the excursions especially Castaway Cay
8. People we met
9. no kids
10. the experience
...other than that it sucked.

The first time we went on a Disney Cruise (and to WDW)---we did not take our kids either!!
Alas...one of the kids are coming along on this trip. But, she's 25---so does that count? :confused3 ;)

We like shows before the dinner as well. We have late seating. We don't want to rush in off the shore to be cleaned up to be at dinner. And...we're oldsters so we don't have to have little ones to bed....:rotfl:

Don't say oldsters:scared1: Anything with Disney involves little kids or big kids, none of us are old, and all food is calorie free,:rotfl:

:yay::yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::yay::yay:

Am I the only one that hasn't started packing?

Nope, we won't start packing until Thursday 10/20. We travel so much we have a spare of everything in the bathroom bag, so all we have to do is: pack our clothes, pack the kids clothes, pack the DD(4)'s princess dresses, pack the FE gifts, scehdule the dogs at the vet, cancel the maid service, get the car serviced for a road trip, book the hotel....omg!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Welcome Aboard Capt'n! Look forward to meeting ya!

Add me to the list of those who have never viewed "Young Frankenstein"

And me - never even heard of it :rolleyes1 Was it even released in the UK :confused3

Ahhh.... Just 16 more work days for me... makes it sound even better than the 22 days before we head down.

Only 9 more working days here - we fly to WDW on 15th October

Welcome, I'm Joh and I will be sailing with my DH, Gary, my DS, Daniel (8), my best friend Natalie and her kids, Ellie and Matthew, and our friends, Tony and Theresa.

We have sailed once before as just adults and it was amazing. Soooooo relaxing. Having said that, on our last cruise, the kids enjoyed the clubs so much we may as well have not had them along - we hardly saw them :thumbsup2

So my DD Cassie just booked today and will be joining us:thumbsup2 It was a solution to our dilemma with the teenagers being on there own on a different floor. So she got the time off work and will be our glorified babysitter! So Becky could you add her to the list of characters please:banana:

Great news Char - you can never have too many extra babysitters ;)

:yay::yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::yay::yay:

No packing done here - lots and lots of stuff in the spare room ready for DH to pack though :thumbsup2

We love late seating too. And we do have kids but Dine and Play is excellent :thumbsup2

I've got just a few little things packed. No where near even half packed though. A far cry from all my other cruises when I was packed by mid September. :rotfl2:

Chuck is done although he doesn't have to deal with the essentials either...just his clothes.

I think I would find Chuck having clothes essential ? ;)

Thank you very much! I have no idea why the PMs didn't come through. Or did you send it by email? I'll double-check my email if that's the case. Interesting thing on the PMs, all of my "Sent" PMs are missing. And I know I've sent a lot. No idea where they went. I hope your PMs to me didn't end up wherever those are!

Thanks again!

Just send PM, if you don't get it let me know, I did not get yours

Nude beach stop? I"m guessing underdog will be in... with a 4 year old DD, we'll stick to the butterfly farm this time around :hippie:

It sounds great too but we too have a 4 year old DD so we to will be doing the butterfly farm this time.

Okay, PMed you back. I really don't know why my PMs aren't working. If anyone else on the list didn't get my PM (as referred to in my board post/request a page or two back), please let me know on the board. Thanks!

Hi Guys, we have a load of cadburys creme eggs we are thinking of bringing along. Just wondered if any of our American friends like them?

I am with you - haven't started packing, need to package up the FE gifts... But I have started gathering and setting aside the many princess dresses for DD so that is something :)

But I have a weekend in Vegas planned before this cruise and I haven't packed anything for that either. Anniversary weekend in Vegas!!

Been so busy at work I am trying to just catch up here.
- Chocolate sounds yummy!! I don't think Florida has anything special. I think we just add coconut to chocolate and other items and package it as our own ;)
- welcome to the new people. This is our first Disney cruise - traveling with DH and DD (5)
- We decided not to do MNSSHP - we are going to wait and do the Christmas party instead since we have several Halloween activities already planned

I Been so busy at work I am trying to just catch up here.

Same here Melissa. Today will be brutal in the loan world. :scared1: It's not only month end, but quarter end and end of the fiscal year for the bank who bought us in July. Then in December we get to do year end again since we aren't converted quite yet. :scared1::scared1::scared1:

But, the countdown calendar in my office at work keeps me sain. :cloud9:
