Parks Game! Part 7.1! Come On...Keep Playing...You Know You Want To!

Okay, I've mentally wandered thru MK and will venture over to Epcot. MK, is the clock in Rose & Crown?

LOL Racerjay! Too funny! :teeth: Anyone want some duck soup? I'm buying. ;)

MK... is it from the main Street Bakery? or CoP?

You're getting closer Jay.
Nope MBabe...
You know how to make duck on a stick Jay? Batter 'em up, call them corn ducks.

ROFLOL!!! The more corn ducks, the better. Just take a hockey stick and play hide and seek with it.

I'm closer? Um.... in the UK somewhere.........

I said closer...but not absolutely in the UK....

DUCK ON A STICK....WHO WANTS SOME???

Me me me me me me me!!! I want a corn duck or two or dozen!! ;)

Hmmmm.... not in UK, but still closer..... How about in Le Cellier.

Grrrrrr....I hate going to school, coming back, and finding that y'all have run to another thread without me!! Oh well, only 3 full days of school left. :D After that, I will be posting full-time (well, except for my trip "home" May 31-June 8, and tennis camp June 22-27, etc.):p

I will guess that the clock is in the clock shop in Germany.

The Pooh cuckoo clock is indeed in the clock shop in Germany, but for a mere $3000.00 it can be in your living room (or wherever else you would like to put it. AAQ cards to Steve and Ben.

(I kind of like the Ducks.) And of course our very own Fort Wayne Komets walked away with the Colonial Cup this year!

(And yes, I did root for the Anaheim Angels to win the World Series last summer. I'm a sucker for teams that have "Disney" ties.) Sorry :(

Turning that AAQ card right back around - here's a question.

In the original version of The Enchanted Tiki Room (Tropical Serenade), there was a "barker bird" outside the attraction to attract guests to it. Who was the original voice of this bird, and what other character did he voice?

info on cuckoo clocks....

i just returned from a trip to Germany. I found a clock that was 4,800 euro. (The euro is close to the dollar. I think that would be about $5,000) Anyway the clock was huge... almost impossible to ship. When it went off it was so loud. It played the nicest music too. I dont know how people could sleep with that anywhere in the house. It would be very difficult...

just in anyone was curious...

Ben.... The original Barker Bird was voiced by Wally Boag, Pecos Bill from Disneyland's Golden Horseshoe Revue. He wrote the Tropical Serenade script and was the voice of Jose.

Aargh...I just stopped by to say "Hi!" and thanks to MBabe for sending me the new thread link!!! :smooth:

I've been away for a while. Still job searching. Fortunately that's not all I get to do. Now that I'm home during the day I've gotten my yardwork "started" (it's a never ending job you know... ), and I've gotten a few of Pixie's "Honey-do" list items done.

I hope to get back for more later...

So our wayward Pirate finally makes an appearance :p Nice to see you on the new thread matey, Aargh ;)

In honor of the Pirate's first appearance on the PG 7.1... I'll toss out this question.....

Who wrote the theme song for The Pirates of the Caribbean... "Yo ho (a pirate's life for me)"?

:smooth:

no clue but here's a easy one:)

What part of West Side has the Gospel Brunch?

Sheesh! I've been through 5 full pages waiting for a chance to get back in the game, and FINALLY a question I can answer. Thanks MBabe :)

PotC theme (A Pirate's Life for Me) written by "X" Atencio.

Same guy that wrote parts of the HM and Splash Mountain songs too I believe.

CS - just realized I know yours too. Gospel Brunch is at the House of Blues, Downtown. Read something about it on my last trip.

:sunny: Morning all Happy Friday :sunny:

It looks like we are waiting for a few confirmations, but I think they are right, so I thought I would throw out a morning softball:

Where will you hear the line "the weather is good, the fishin is fine" and what is the next line?

I second Blue with Xavier Atencio (he wrote the lyrics). George Bruns wrote the music to Yo Ho.

Happy Friday!!!

MBabe is correct. Wally Boag was the barker bird, and he also voiced Jose. AAQ card to you!!!

Pam - I know that is in Splash Mountain. Can't quite remember the next line right now.

I'll check back in this afternoon.

Good Morning All! Duck on a stick sure sounds good this morning. We may have to make that a permanent part of CC fare!

I'll guess that the 'weather is good, the fishin fine' on SM. How about 'pan-fried duck sounds divine' as the second verse?!?
