Parking in the woods or at least close to them at Typhoon Lagoon!!!!!

Have any of you seen Paging Mr. Morrow's latest vlog? I guess Typhoon Lagoon is super busy being the only Disney water park open now. I imagine Disney appreciates that though. Makes me wonder if they will ever open both up at the same time again?

I was shocked by where he had to park!

We went to the After Hours event a few weeks ago and it was much more crowded than the one we did pre-shutdown- still not near as crowded as a regular day. I too wonder if we've seen the last of both parks being open at the same time.

Why would they do that? Universal has a huge water park now, it would make no sense to close Blizzard Beach permanently. It has been a while since Blizzard had any maintenance or upgrading, it was just due for a lengthy one.

It is not helping with the Temps in Orl being almost 100.

Still no. They do that in the winter but it would be just foolish to do it for the summer. It is just temporary until the refurb is done. Covid made them lose this summer.

I watched the video too. The parking thing did seem nuts. He mentioned it took him almost an hour to get in there and park?

Wait times for the water rides seemed good mid day. It mostly looked like 15 minute waits for the slides throughout the afternoon and I didn’t notice any lines at the food/drink stands.

We’ve been to the water parks in the summer mid day and it’s been slammed with huge crowds, and even then, arriving around noon, we easily found parking in the main parking area.

But it was an H20 Glow night at TL the day Mr. Morrow went. Guests with those tickets can enter as early as 6pm. so I’m thinking that on Saturdays, when this event is held, maybe they close off parking to the main sections early and make the day guests park further away, so there is close parking for the H20 guests, so that the H20 guests don’t have to traipse through to the far away parking in the dark when the event is over. I don’t know. Just a thought. Considering it didn’t seem too crowded in the water park during the day.

I like that TL is open until 7pm! Late day 5-7 is perfect for me. Nate's empty video of the lazy river was taken around 5pm. Anyways, I love a deep pool. The deep end in the wave pool is the BEST!

And, I've never seen the parking lot so full. Was it a Saturday? I didn't know there was field parking at TL.

He had to park way out, but in the video, the wait times didn't seem bad at all and he commented on that. So I don't think the water park is unbearably busy currently.

If you're a resort guest and you want to use bus transportation, you have to go to DS. There is no resort bus to or from TL. We ubered- I'm not dealing with all that and I wish they'd bring resort bus service back!

If he entered at 6, that's as crowded as you're likely to see it I would think. The combination of regular day guests and party guests makes for a very crowded park for a short period of time. We were staying at a WDW resort and ubered so I have no idea what parking was like on the day we went.

No. Sorry for the confusion. He was there as a day guest. He wasn’t attending the evening event. He probably entered early afternoon.
