Parking at Universal Garage--Free Evenings?

My DH and I are going to be at WDW soon and we thought we might make a stop at Margaritaville for a drink. Is parking free in the evening? If so, what time does that start?

I believe parking is free after 6pm. Maybe someone else can verify that for you.

That's correct. If the park closes at 7:00 like now, the parking is free after 6:00.

I can't remember if it is free after 6:00 when the park closes later though.

It's free parking after 6p most days of the year. On some HHN nights, it's free parking after 8p. I forget what it was for NYE...

I was hoping it would be free a bit earlier. We'll have to see how that works into our plans.

4th of July you pay until 10:00pm.

so if I park there at like 5:00 p.m. and stay until 10:00 p.m. do I just pay for the hour that I was there before free parking started or do I have to pay for 5 hours of parking since I arrived before it was free?

Is this true for Halloween Horror Nights too?

I think that there is a set amount to park and it doesn't matter how long you're there (unless you get there later and it's free). I've always either stayed at the resorts or had an AP so don't know for sure.

Are there any hourly places to park?
