Outside DJs

Ok, so based on recent news that a DJ at our wedding time may be inflated as much as 3x! scared1: ) I wanted to ask if anyone has used an outside DJ? I've been looking at some, and believe it or not, their prices aren't bad at all!!! Some, combined with the $950 charge of Disney, come out to about the same $1500, but thats playing a 5th hour for the cocktail hour! Super awesome! So...has anyone used outside DJs? What are your thoughts on this? I mean, I know they aren't "Disney", but its not like we get to preview any of the Disney DJs...so its all the same to me.

More specifically, has anyone heard anything (good or bad) about 'The Pros' wedding services? They have awesome prices on DJs.

Disney contracts out their DJ services anyway. Our DJ was not technically a Disney employee. I say go for it if it can save you some money

thanks amanda!! I think we might do just that, simply because an extra $1200 could be spent on something else, and I refuse to pay more for my entertainment than I did my photography!! lol

yeah, $1200 is alot to save! I remember when my original wedding date was in December and when we saw the DJ was double the price it was like HUH??
