Our old navy closed

Sign on door yesterday said lease terminated due to failure to pay rent . Anyone else see anything else closing unexpected ?

That’s sad . There’s been closures of a few restaurants but I don’t think they were doing well even before this.

I think we can expect many store closures in the next few months. Gap/Old Navy company has been on shaky grounds for a while so I’m not surprised.

That surprises me that the owner would terminate the lease, who else do they think will move in? Where are you located? I am in Mississauga and haven't heard of anything like that yet, just restaurants that have said they won't reopen.

Gap/Old Navy are not doing well in general. UPS has been told not to pick up from their stores (due to unpaid bills).

That's not good. That could explain why we have an Old Navy Package that has been available for pick up at the store since May 27 and hasn't been picked up yet.

Definitely could be why I have one myself "stuck" and "ready to go" according to UPS tracking. They have also been told not to pick up from Wayfair and Rogers And I think there is a 5rh company, too.

That's what I'm waiting for, too! One set of adult masks, one set of kids masks. My order "shipped" on Monday but according to tracking is still "ready to go"

Where will I get my cozy warm hoodies.?
Now I can see some Old Navy stores moving out of Malls and into more of a Box Store type location.

All the "Ready to go" statements are very likely just a UPS issue. I have an insider with UPS who says they are overwhelmed with all the shipments at the moment. I had a package sit in Concord for 4 days before it got moved on to Ottawa. Then it sat at that sorting station for another 4 days before it went out for delivery. All this was with my insider requesting information on where the package was in the system etc.

Be patient. If they items are ready to go Old Navy has packaged them up. You just need to wait..... for them to get picked up and delivered. (at least that was my experience) That being said I now have a package stuck in Buffalo waiting to cross the border with FedEx.

I have a UPS insider too, my husband He's a UPS driver. They got notifications on their diads this week to not pick up anything from Gap, Old Navy, Wayfair and Rogers. This means bills have not been paid by these companies. My ON order is still "ready to go"

Also the backlog of packages in the East is a major issue. The UPS depots here in BC had large backlogs but they seem to be thinned out. This is not the case in ON and QU though, still huge backlogs. Even worse in the US. A couple of weeks ago one Depot had a backlog of over 100,000 packages!

In the same boat. Ready to ship last Mon but not picked up by UPS. Waiting for my masks. Ordered at least 4 wks + ago.

Has anyone had any success phoning in to ask about their order? We have phoned twice and after waiting on hold for more than an hour we were hung up on and the other time gave up.
