Our little thread of BIG Resort changes*OLD THREAD link on last pg. to new thread!

Trish - from what I have read, either band should work for the whole trip. The bands are just used to "access" your profile so they both would access the same information. I guess you can switch up and wear whichever one best matches your outfit!!! :thumbsup2 Of course, I haven't used them and don't have them because I am one of the very few unlucky ones who have reservations in October (2 in fact) and can't get MBs with either one. Wow - that sounded bitter didn't it LOLOLOLOL

OH - and I will let you know how we like BWI. We switched to the Inn from the Villas but I didn't fix my ticker!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LOVE LOVE LOVE the meet up pictures Melissa, Candace and Ginny. Melissa - your kids are adorable!
Candace and Ginny - thoughts on F&W?
Melissa - hope to see you Friday!!!
Where is Janet? Any meet up pics with her???
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pas - your dd is gorgeous and I love her cake!!!

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I will have a FABULOUS time! But I am definitely sad that I am not going to have a pink or green band strapped to my wrist!

Thanks to one very special RC lady I now have the Dessert Party booked for Dec 16th .... DH is going to be so happy!!! :goodvibes Sheila when I read your message I jumped out of bed .... knocking the cat off the bed and tripped over the dog! Both animals looked at me as if to say .... hey wait we're retired we don't get up this early!!! :rotfl2: Time for coffee now .......

Well then I will have to pack reds and pinks then;)

Also we have annual passes and I notices that each day it extends my ability to get FP+ by one day with it being a 60 day window. So I am curious if I have a res for 1/1/14 what will happen. I think I read somewhere fp+ is like dining, 60days +10.

I have 3 res's for that trip, will I get 3 more MB's???:confused3

I would then have 5 colors and endless outfit matching:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for info Basketlacey:thumbsup2

Hmm now I am going to look at dessert party. Thanks a lot guys! For January I already have CG, BOG and GF tea, do we need that too????

WOOOHOO! Great score on the DP! I have too many menu and F&W desserts to try this trip but some day I want to do the DP!:thumbsup2

Good afternoon, ladies! :grouphug: Planning away, I see?

Today was school picture day. Why exactly did I let the husband wipe off her face after breakfast? :crazy2: Either it was his fault or her face miraculously grew dirt between leaving the house and walking around the block to school.

Magic: Hiya, lady. :wave2: I'm glad things went well for their anniversary dinner. :goodvibes Never heard of Fleming's -- will go look them up. :goodvibes

Sue: That's a LOT of work being done! Nice!

Melissa: When we meet up I promise not to shield my eyes from your green MagicBand. :rotfl2: :thumbsup2 (I bet it's called Lightyear Green.) What'd you nab at Target? popcorn:: I gotta stay the heck off Cartwheel. :rolleyes1 (Got Miss M a Dorothy costume 50% off last week for no reason whatsoever.)

Linda: Welcome Home! Wait, you ARE home again, right? :rotfl: Not sneaking the cat and dog into Disney resorts, are ya? Hope you got your coffee. What was the favorite from your latest trip?

Miss - there is a 10% off for The Croods on Cartwheel, LMAO!!! I also saved 15% on sunglasses for Steven, replacing the ones he left on Dinosaur this last weekend.

Babyberger: Yep, only maybe the "small plates" or appys at Flemings would do the trick for us on a more regular basis. Yikes! :rotfl: We chose there because my parents love prime rib, and they offer a Sunday only prime rib dinner which comes as a "package" with outstanding salad, entree, one side and dessert for $40.00 so that's where we put our money when we do go. All other entrees are a la carte, and I personally get queasy with paying $10.00 for a baked potato... :faint: So pass it along to your mom if she's a carnivore!

Wishes Dessert Party Opened up for December - March 2014 this morning. 12/30-31 & 3/31 not open yet
OMG sjs314 Thanks!!! I've one question for ya or any of you guys who knows... I tried to book a Wishes Dessert Party night and it offered me 2 options of 8:30 pm or 8:50 pm seating. :confused3 Why???? If you arrive at 8:30 do you get a better seat? Or???? I appreciate any help you can offer.

...Wow - that sounded bitter didn't it LOLOLOLOL
Naaaaah, not at all!!!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Oooh and you've a tasty switch to BWI from BWV, nice! :thumbsup2

Magic: Hiya, lady. :wave2: I'm glad things went well for their anniversary dinner. :goodvibes Never heard of Fleming's -- will go look them up. :goodvibes
You guys have so many great steakhouses by you to choose from. Yummm. But there two Flemings: one in north burbs Lincolnshire, one in River North on Ohio if I remember correctly. My SIL owns a big tapas restaurant on LaSalle nearby the River North Flemings location.

Hmmmm What is this Cartwheel you speak of???:scratchin:rotfl:

Check for it in your Apple App Store; hopefully it's available up there. :goodvibes It's a nifty little Target coupon app you can use in-store which stacks automatically with any existing promos they're running.

Melissa: Just saw 10% off the Little Mermaid combo Blu-Ray too! And you can get a stackable $7.00 off coupon if you jump through flaming hoops and join Scott Shared Values (then sign in with your Disney account and download a coupon app. I don't mind the flaming hoops because it's $7.00. :rolleyes1 )

MAGIC As I understand it the time of the ADR has no baring on where your seats are, it is just to stagger arrivals for seating as each party is escorted to the pre assigned table which is located closer towards the front dependent on how soon after reservations open up that you book.

By them releasing Dec-March this morning it looks as if maybe the DP will be bookable @ 180 Days? :confused3

I love the frugal-ness of our RCers!! I just booked our flights down in May 2014 on Jetblue, got a great deal, and used up the credit I had. One more trip in before those AP's expire!!:cool1:

Yep I'm home. :sad1: My favorite part of my last trip was seeing my grandson and watching him and my daughter (his aunt not mother) play around together. She was his main caregiver during his cancer treatments so they have a very special bond.

Linda I posted here then on the RC FB page then remembered your in Cali so sent the PM just in case the others failed. Glad you were able to get the day you wanted :yay:

It was the PM that I saw first ... so thanks again!

Seating for the Dessert Party is pre-assigned. I've heard that the sooner you book the party the better seats you get but I have no idea if that is the case or not. I've always booked the first day it opened and always been in the front row. But if you aren't in the front row it's all good!

Yep exactly what she said!!! I'd love to be able to book at 180 days out and not have be attached to my computer waiting for it to open up.

Miss - I saw the 10% on the Little Mermaid, but already have it on DVD and not going to buy it on Blu Ray. But yeah, I usually jump through the Scott stuff to, it is a high enough value coupon to make it worth it ::yes:: Oh and you may not have to stare at my green band in Jan, I think I am going to get a cover for it. We were sitting on the monorail with a family who had bought the covers and it looked liked it made them more comfortable and she also said they were having a problem with the bands popping off so the cover holds them on.

Jen - :cheer2: for booking flights!!! Another trip :cool1: Hmmm, what are your May dates....I have a 40th bday lurking in May :scared:

Lacey - Friday!!! Definitely!!! :yay: Besides a fiesta margarita, I did not try anything else at F&W last weekend. Just walked through the WS to meet up with Ginny and then take the kids on Malestrom. I cannot wait to go this weekend!!!!

Linda - yay on getting the dessert party! I tried to make FP+ selections for Dec today but I am only able to access through November. That was on the website, maybe I will try the app and see if that makes a difference.

trishadono - looks like you have some great resies for Jan ::yes::

Magic - thanks for the info on Flemings, I will pass it along! I think I am going to get my parents a GC as a combination of their bday and anniversary presents.

In the middle of a TON of homework with the kiddos! Hugs :grouphug: to all!

Melissa
