I did get the Tamiflu. The doctor warned me that it might not prevent me from getting the flu if I'd already started getting sick, but it should make the symptoms easier to deal with. I started taking it on Sat (last weekend) and thought I was gonna be ok but on Monday I suddenly felt like I'd been hit by a truck. I tested positive on Tuesday. Tuesday & Wednesday were pretty bad, but NOTHING like DD had! She was coughing so hard she thought she'd broken a rib and there was blood in her sputum... and dark green hunks (sorry to be so graphic). I wasn't that sick... coughing, low fever, body/joint aches and exhausted, but nothing like the fever of 102+ that she ran for several days. I'm feeling pretty good right now- I actually worked a full day today, getting the labs ready for next week.
Supper tonight was Sam's rotisserie chicken, shells with pasta sauce, and bagged salad. There really wasn't enough of the sauce left for DH to have as a meal, so it became tonight's side. The LittleGuy is here for overnight and I think he's getting sick, too... but he ate like a truck driver (he'll be 10 in July... what are the teen years gonna be like if he eats like this now?), so maybe he's not getting sick? We'll know in the morning, but he's feverish, coughing/sneezing/snotting... we'll see.
