wookie not sure if Pop has the same HA config as ASSports but if they do maybe this is something to check into King + Double instead of 2 room ressies? Maybe cheaper option? The HA rooms are different at every resort which can drive ya crazy.

I don't totally understand what my friend said, but she when she priced/booked the rooms she said, "Ok, so it looks like we can get 2 rooms at Pop, because. I requested a room with a roll in shower, so they give you the adjoining room for free." Like I said I don't totally understand it, but it'll be nice to have the 3 beds and 2 bathrooms. Maybe it's because we are doing the ressie in just one of our names and we'll have three adults? My half will only be $150.

I love going to cons!! I'm not sure if we will make the Dallas October one or not with saving for a family vacation, my girls only trip, and my new camera in addition to birthdays and Christmas.

I'm glad the renos are coming along so well. Hopefully, they will be finished on time and under budget.

We've had a pretty good weekend. Friday night we went to Red Lobster for the Endless Shrimp. I'm drawing a complete blank as to what we did yesterday other than install a ceiling fan and get Sonic ice cream after. Then today for the Texas Rangers game, we had potato salad, macaroni salad, BBQ (sliced beef brisket, chicken breast, and Polish sausage), and Deviled eggs. It was so good, but I ate too much. Then the Rangers won!! Which means they are tied for the 2nd wildcard spot in their division. I would love to go to tomorrow night's tie breaker, but I don't think it's in the week's budget.

Oh and my girl's only trip has already changed both resorts and dates. I was worried about taking an under 3 year old in June, with the crowd calendar showing the numbers they were. I have never been with someone so young, so I talked to the others about changing. They agreed that late August would be a better time as well. Our new dates for the WDW part of the trip are Aug. 29 - Sept. 1 at the Pop Century. One of the group needs a handicap accessible room, so we'll have a King size accessible room and an adjoining regular room.

Under budget are any renos under budget? Not mine for sure! With these older homes it's like opening a can of worms. One thing leads to another. Then I decided that the upstairs needed painting. I'll just be happy when it's done!

Very true. It seems like every time they "open up" an older home to do a renos on the show "Love It Or List It", they always find something unexpected and expensive.

The Red Lobster we went to, my inlaws go so much that our waiter recognized them. My only problem with my meal was the broccoli was under cooked. It wasn't totally raw, but it still had that raw broccoli taste. Which would have been fine, if I had been expecting it.

Wookie how true. I live in a neighbourhood established in the 50's. Plumbing needed replacing which started this whole thing. We decided since they had to go thru basement floor we may as well put a bathroom in. Which then meant we had to move laundry room, which meant we had to reconfigure basement, when they took wood panel off a wall to get to pipes, we saw there was no insulation, so all walls had to come down, to insulate . And we had to reno upstairs bathroom. Of course it had to be bigger, and on & on!! Oh, and hubs just had to have a stream shower installed I think upstairs bathroom should be finished this week!

I think there's still a Red Lobster on University. My mom used to love to go. We don't have them. So I went with her on a visit. I really like Ale House & Tijuana Taxi! I'll be staying on Univ. & Atlantic next visit, so everything will be close by. Don't feel like paying beach hotel prices in January, water is too cold to swim! And I'll only be there 4 days.

Busy day today!!!! BFF and I hit the ground running at AK. We hit Everest, Dinosaur, and the spinny Dinosaur ride coaster thing all within a half hour of arriving!! No crowds!!!

We got to meet up with Melissa and her cutie kiddos after that!!

Then we went and hung out at AKL for a bit before heading over to Epcot. It was pretty much a mob scene and we only got a few items (gonna head back on Monday when it's hopefully slower) but...we got to meet Ginny!!!

So, tonight, we are going to go over to MK as it's open til midnight, but were hanging at POFQ for a bit to rest!!

I bet if it was established in the 50's, the neighborhood is full of big trees. The tiny trees are one of the things my DH hates about new sub-divisions. I don't blame you for not paying for beach prices in January. Although, I would probably still pay it, just so I could sit on a balcony and look at the beach.

wookie I've only booked the HA King at the Deluxes and since we're only a party of 2 no free connecting room so wasn't sure if you knew about it or not

I can also confirm, the red coloured MagicBand is really pretty! Great choice, Petey. (Not really digging the green, bit too bright for my liking -- but that's the hubbo's one, so I only have to look at it, not wear it. Shame it wasn't a forest green.) Now, if only they had purple as an option...

Miss M has already been asking about what she can get to put on it. Disney thinks of all angles, eh?

Mom and dad's "big deal" 50th anniversary was swell! We had a nice time yesterday. It's definitely a special occasion kind of place to be sure, but if any of you have a Fleming's nearby, I recommend it for their impeccable service and fine quality food.

On the home front, upstairs bathroom mostly tiled, they just have to grout shower enclosure, install the shower stuff, glass door, etc, toilette installed cabinet for sink being installed. They're working on stairs, and painter has started upstairs, yay.

So I am confused. I have one night at GF RPC std then 2nights there deluxe king RPC. I was looking at MDE and I have a second set of MB's. (ordered pink and grey for us this time).

So how does it work? Do I have to wear the red for first night and pink for rest? On transfer day which one do I use.

Some of you have mentioned multiple bands so how did it actually work?
