~Our June '09 adventure~ I'm home! Started TR 7/2

I've never seen Nemo! We'll have to try to check it out next time :thumbsup2

I've never seen Nemo. I LOVED Tarzan Rocks when it was there. It was my favorite show. I saw Tarzan the Musical on Broadway a few years ago, and it was great. ;)

Nemo

We were seated in front of some Disney execs and other VIPs who were observing the show. Apparently some of the performers were of particular interest to these VIPs - Crush, Bruce, and Dory. Not sure if they were people from Broadway or what, but it was interesting to hear their comments through the show and immediately afterwards.

At another viewing of Nemo:
After the show was over, those lovely sea gulls, "Mine. Mine. Mine." decided to give the adolescents an idea - the theater erupted in 6+yr olds yelling "Mine. Mine. Mine." In between, you heard the parents, "That's enough." "Knock it off." The rest of the afternoon we would run into groups of children still saying "Mine."

Oh cool! You were behind those VIP's! Did they say anything bad?!

Hahaha, I would've been laughing so hard and probably would've joined in on the "Mine.Mine.Mine" train.

Attraction of the Day...

Nemo the Musical

It was our first time doing this after it opened..We got in line early and ended up getting a good seat! Okay, so the show's going and we're all just in awe. Then the people come out in the aisles with the long stick things and they swing around the jellyfish with long tails. Well, we were close to one of the aisles so we were turning around looking at the guy in our aisle and see this: the guy two rows behind us on the end was getting hit by the tail everytime it was swung around! His family was laughing so hard. Finally after the 3rd time of getting hit, he decided to duck the next time. :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That's hilarious!!!!

I've got a pretty good story about waiting in line for this one! Nemo had only been open for a month or so, so lines for it were always ridiculously long. We knew we had to get in line early to get a good seat. So we stood with this elderly couple for about fifteen minutes and talked to them with no one behind us. We started lamenting that we should have grabbed EE fastpasses before we got in line so that they would be ready shortly after the show was over. But we just knew if we left the line, people would start lining up behind us, and we would lose our spot. So the elderly lady suggests that some of us stay behind and hold our spot while the others run over to EE to grab the FPs. My mom said something about people behind us getting mad about the FP runners getting back in line with us, and the woman said, "You've been standing here at least 15 minutes longer than any of them will have. I'd say you've put your down payment in for good seats." :rotfl2: And then her husband grinned and said, "If anyone says anything to you, we'll be your witnesses. Or I can just whack 'em with my cane!" :lmao: They were TOO. FUNNY. In the end, my aunt and brother ran for FPs for the four of us, and they got back just before the line started moving towards the building. In the end, nobody behind us even seemed to notice, and the older man gave us a conspiratorial wink of victory. :rotfl:

We still talk about that couple because of how funny and sweet they were. I think we remember them better than Nemo! :rolleyes1

Aw..that's so cute! Haha, what if he really did hit them with his cane!

Nemo ~ I liked this! It was a great show! Something I'll never forget....it's bad but you know that "crack" woman in the pic w/ the Monkeys? We'd just gotten away from all that and then she came strolling through the theatre crack showing and all. It was disgusting!

Ohhhhhh man. Yes I remember her! Hahaha. It's so funny how many times you see the same people throughout the day! I always notice this too with people that stand out to me.

I am another one who has not seen Nemo. But it sounds like I should put it on the list for June!

I've never seen Nemo either! We tried to get in during our December trip but it was sooooo busy on the 23rd that every show we lined up for was full before we got in the theater.

I will definitely make sure I see it in May! Promise!:thumbsup2

Hahaha, that poor guy! That's too funny! :lmao:

Add me to the list of people that has never seen Nemo! I'm definitely making it a point to see it in May! Hopefully we don't get hit by tails ;)

The Nemo show is really cute! I have to admit that I got teary-eyed during part of it (that may have been because it was our last day there and then there's a part where Nemo is singing "where's my dad?"...it was so sad! LOL!)

But my favorite memory of it is from before the show when they Nemo starts popping up in the bubbles on the sides of the stage and all the kids started freaking out. hehe

I think all the singers are SO good! The songs were in my head the whole day!

Haha, the whole theater would erupt with "NNNNNNNEEEMMMMO" everytime he'd swim by in the bubbles.

OMG that Nemo story is hilarious!!! :rotfl: I would die if I saw that hahaha

Nemo is a must do for us in April!
