Malware on this site?

Is there a reason why people don't install ad blockers on their computers/devices? I use them and never have these.

I have McAfee. This is getting around it. Not the first time with the DIS. @WebmasterCorey

On a mobile device or PC? If mobile, 99.9% chance it's a full screen pop-up ad.

Mac PC in Chrome. The ads on the side usually do not bother me, but I have a free version of Avast which alerts me if it sees something amiss.

I'm the original poster, and I don't get that pop-up anymore. I have (and have always had) an ad blocker installed.

This site runs a ton of ads, so maybe that's the problem.

I think certain ads are very much the issue until the webmaster removes them.

I’ve started to notice them too when accessing from my phone. Really am tired of the sheer number of ads being run.

I don't really use this site on my phone because it takes too much effort to type paragraphs on a phone keyboard. So I limit my use to my laptop. I have Mac OS and I use the "Brave" browser with some kind of adblocker. I looked, it's called uBlock origin. I have absolutely no problems.

I know on my phone, I just use Safari a lot, and I tried to do some kind of ad blocker. However, I do run into stuff that says to disable my adblocker. I'm like, I didn't want to read that article anyway.

You’d think having a paid membership with a skin that has zero ads would be such an easy fix.
I mean I’d pay $20/year to not have to play musical browsers.
