What an awesome surprise!! I watched both videos and was crying just anticipating the big reveal. As a military family, there is nothing like seeing your husband for the first time after a long deployment. Great job to Disney for making this so magical and I hope your family had a wonderful vacation.

As the wife of a former Marine, I know those emotions that have you teetering on the edge, just waiting for them to get back to you... (We don't have kids, I cannot imagine how handling all those emotions combined must be! You are wonderful!) All too often those delayed plane phone calls happen! DH's final deployment, every single stage of the trip back was delayed... It was agonizing! Even before I clicked play on your video I was crying - then when your husband stepped out, and y'alls faces lit up, I lost it! My poor doggies thought something was wrong with me the way I was sniffling, lol. What a wonderful memory that you were able to make! So glad he made it home safe and sound .

Would you mind me asking whom you worked with at Disney? I am due to return the first or second week of March. My wife and I have two kids, 3 and 7. I sent a letter to Disney back in November and heard back in December, I believe. We were put in touch with a very helpful representative, but I'm not sure she grasps what we want to accomplish. We wanted something magical for the kids, so naturally, we picked Disney. My wife came up with the idea of surprising them at Town Square Theater when they first arrive. Photos would be easy, since there's a photopass photographer right there. But, the agent was talking about hiring a photographer. So far, I don't have anything concrete, and we really want to make this happen. It doesn't sound like I'm on the right path. Any input would be AWESOME! So glad they helped you out a much as they did! Very touching!
