Our Boardwalk view - last week

Thanks so much for posting those photos! I have never been to WDW and we are thinking about going in Nov. 2008. Could you please give me some advice?

Is it very difficult to get to to the Magic Kingdom from there? We have a meeting at the Boardwalk Inn. Would it be better to stay closer to the MK and commute to the meeting everyday? We probably want to spend the evenings at the MK to see all the parades, fireworks and light shows.

We have gone countless times to the Disneyland Resort and I am feeling so overwhelmed planning a trip to WDW. It seems just HUGE! :scared:

Thanks for your help....

I'm sure some others will be better at advice than myself but I'll tell you my thoughts.

It is a bus ride away from the MK. We personally love the Boardwalk area because we're so close to EPCOT which has fireworks every night also. We're also close to MGM which has Fantasmic every night which is one of the best shows WDW offers. However, if you want to stay close to MK you could stay at the Poly, the Contemporary or the Grand Floridian which are all incredible resorts and you're only a monorail ride away from MK. You would then have to just take a bus to BWI every day for your meeting. I hope you have fun planning! You might want to post your own thread asking for advice, I'm sure you'll get a lot of responses!!:goodvibes

Thanks so much! :goodvibes

I didn't know that Fantasmic! was at MGM. That is our favorite! I just love that show.

I guess that I need to get going on the planning. It seems like a lot of folks begin to plan almost a year in advance. YIKES. Thanks again!

What did you request in order to get this room and view? Was it a significant upgrade in price/rate? My husband and I are looking at staying at the Boardwalk for the first time this fall and would really like to have a view of the boardwalk because we love to people watch. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the memories. We were just there about a month ago. We had the room over the Boardwalk Bakery. popcorn::

We requested a "Water View" room. If you're a people watcher it's worth the extra $$$. Here's a link to the rates:
