OT: Where to purchase a used inexpensive kayak in Peterborough/Lindsay,ON area?

I am interested in purchasing one or two single or double inexpensive kayaks for our family. So far I have bought one (single) found on kijiji. I will keep checking kijiji as well as e-bay. I have also e-mailed cottage toys and wild rock outfitters (they rent kayaks so I wonder if they might happen to have any older ones that they want to sell).

Any more ideas as to other web sites, stores etc. I could check would be really appreciated. Canadian Tire sells basic ones for $279 plus tax (single) but hoping to spend a little less then that.

Garage Sales! That's where we picked up one of ours. There is also this place- can't remember the name, but it's on Highway 7 just north of Norwood across from Country Time Donuts- just outside of Peterborough. My DH & I were there last year looking at boats and kayaks. They had pretty god prices. Hope this helps!

I've used Swift canoes and kayaks for years and swear by them. They have a few demo and used sales every year. There isn't one in P-boro this year but there are ones coming up in Toronto, Sudbury, North Bay and Guelph.

Also, Costco usually carries inexpensive kayaks in the spring.
