It was because of how you spelled "ChaCha", they are very nitpicky that it not be spelled any other way that the way I just put it in quotes. No spaces between each Cha.

I'm doing the simulator now. Good grief, this is much harder than I thought! It's like I KNOW the answers, but finding a decent source is challenging. Then trying to fit it all in 130 characters! I'm on question 8. I passed the first phase with flying colors, but I'm doubtful in my question-answering abilities now!

I haven't received any "fluff" questions yet. Escargo, constitutional, chinese checkers, and USC locations (which there are a million and different universities!)...

Yep Nanu - I'm with you. Decided to check in over here to see if everyone was having the same problem. Universe was hopping, but no Underground or Forum. I posted a question over there yesterday and was hoping to check the responses I was only a couple questions short of 200, so I did 5 questions and logged out. Don't want to not get paid - and hopefully they count!

Have you ever noticed that people seem to post on the ChaCha forums all the "rules" that I have never actually seen written anywhere? That's what I asked over there - point me to all these rules, please!

I have only been a guide for a couple of months and have only actually logged in a few times. Sometimes I just want to log in and look around, not take inquiries. As soon as I get logged in, before I can make myself unavailable I get an inquiry and I can't get rid of it! What can I do?

OK, I'm really depressed. I took the first 3 tests a while ago, and after I finished the 15 questions, I got this message immediately:

We will notify you if other Guide roles become available, and invite you to return to the registration process. Please do not create a new account as we will contact you on this account when you are eligible for a position.

Now, I finished everything with plenty of time remaining, but my computer was acting funky and I hit the "done" button at the bottom of the page multiple times, trying to get the next page to load faster. Did this mess me up, or am I just a nitwit? Also, does this mean I might have another chance, or did I just fail miserably and I'm done?


Oh, also, I couldn't get the page to load for a good 2 hours, I kept getting a syntax error message, even when refreshing like it suggested. I'm so bummed out.......

You can log into the Underground without logging into the Universe. The Underground has all of your account info, the knowledgebase and the forums.

In fact, for some reason I can't even get logged in on the Underground using Mozilla, I always keep it open in a seperate Internet Explorer window. So that makes it easy for me to check my earnings and such as I go along since if I'm in the Universe questions come pretty non-stop here lately and I'm not going to complain about that! LOL

Hopefully things will be good for the bonus tonight. I could use an extra $12.00!

When you log into the Underground, click on your name at the top of the page. When the new page opens click on the Dashboard tab, it will have a place to set up your payment options.

It was going great for me until around 8:00 and then it just got sloowwww. I only did 25 questions in the last hour. They are about 3-5 minutes apart now. I'm just trying to get my 120 for the guaranteed bonus and then I'm going to bed. I only have a couple left.

If you do 120 queries between 6:00pm and 3:00am you will get $12.00 extra dollars added to your account. Barring any quality issues of course.

You should have gotten an email but there were several people on the forums saying that they didn't receive them.

If I can't find the specific person they asked for I'll give them info on anyone with that name.

Sorry, I couldn't find XYZ in ABC but here is a XYZ in 123 who plays golf with Tiger Woods, or whatever.

If I can't find anyone with that name I'll say, I'm sorry, I was unable to locate anyone by the name Michelle Blanchard (my name haha) but did you know that Michelle is of French origin and means "one who is like God".

I saw that suggested on the boards and thought it was a good idea.
