It took me about 2 weeks from the time I signed up until the time I actually started being a Guide. For a while there I had given up thinking I'd never hear back from them--just takes some time.

(Whew!) Thank Goodness, made it again! The thought of going back to .10 would really depress me!

I made it too. I think it's my 3rd week. I need to make it next week too so that I can have a buy week for the following week since I'll be out of town.

How to make it really is pretty simple.. just answer questions correctly, being careful about who/what you use for source. They also look at grammar and spelling. You do have to have at least 200 searches a week too.

Of course, they don't read all of your texts. So you can totally blow one and still receive a 100% accuracy IF they don't look at it. I'm fairly positive there were a few that I either got wrong or only partially right last week and I still made it. I just got lucky and they didn't review those particular queries.

I've only been doing this for a little over 2 weeks so I'm still learning everything but all that she said is what I've been reading from everyone who's been around for awhile.

I sit on pins and needles till noon on Thursdays now. LOL

I finished my Sim test today. I had (as pp indicate) a lot of technical issues getting started, but I think I did well after that. Tech problems with first two and I didn't complete...as I posted earlier someone on the forum there said they don't count the incomplete ones against you on Sim test but I should answer 15 to be on the safe side. (Even though they only grade 10--maybe they look at the others???)

I answered probably 20 to be on the SAFER side. Sometimes they were quick after the other, but often I waited 5 minutes in between or longer.

200 searches--how much time do you spend doing this?

Congrats to this weeks TGs. Hopefully I will be celebrating with you all next Thursday. This is only my third day. So far, so good, I think. Up to $18 already. Can't wait for the $0.20.

I also made TG for my second week in a row. I have a question about payments. I'm on the once a month payment and I know you have to have at least $100 in your account. Is that $100 by the 15th? I'm at $90 right now but I'm not sure when the cutoff is.

Yes, you have to have $100 by the 15th. You have plenty of time to make that $10.

I got a 500 when I submitted my W-9. I look like I'm in now, but I'm getting no quetions to complete my 10 test.

No the questions don't come one right after another at least not all the time. You get periods where its back to back but it seems there is plenty of down time too.

I'm so relieved that I'm still making my 20 cents! I've made TG for the past four weeks, but last week I only did about 30 queries. I didn't think I'd get the vacation pay since a lot of people were having problems with it. But I did.
