Osborne Lights possible route for this year

Park News - (4/5/04) We’ve been sent the possible new route for the Osbourn Family Lights this season. The rumored current plans are to start the route at the Sci-Fi Dine In, run along New York Street, make a left and run through the Al’s Toy Barn area, and exit up into the Muppet’s courtyard.

Oh I hope this is true! I had read on another Disney discussion board (from a CM in the park) that they are not sure if the lights are coming back this year! I'll be crushed!! When I called CRO and questioned the CM there, he couldn't guarantee me they would return, there is no definite word yet. I'll take them wherever they put them!!!

If this is true it would be too awesome . Having never seen them except for pictures online we were bummed when they cancelled them last year. Since we are going again this Dec. this would be an added bonus.

Disney, if you are listening(or reading) bring those Osbourne Lights back!!!!

I heard this last year about the possibility of them running them along the NY Street.Geez I hope so,that would look way cool!!!

The Osborne lights are too spectacular to spend another year boxed away!

Thanks so much for this info, Dan! Kind of perks me up from having to cancel my December trip, and go the first week in January instead. I was pretty disappointed about missing all the Christmas stuff, but now I have a pretty good chance of seeing the Osborne Lights, which I love-aren't they still up til January 2 or 3?

If they are to come back, does anyone have an idea what the time frame might be? We're going to be there for Thanksgiving and are hoping that we can start our holidays off with a bang....CP, MVMCP, etc.
