Hi everyone. We are one of the families that rent a car when we're down at the world. Since Orlando is always so busy, I'm asking this question.

Hubby always drives the rental car, but is OBSESSED with finding the orlando radio stations to set on the car's radio like ASAP (like... while we're pulling out of the garage at the airport). Why he can't wait, or let me do it is beyond me. In any regard.... does anyone know what the different stations are that we can easily (and quickly) set so DH isn't so distracted on I-4 :scared1::confused:

He likes classical, jazz, top-40, and hard rock.

TIA. I want to, as soon as we get in the car, set the stations so he can just :drive:. Gosh.

We listen to WLOQ (103.1) at work since it's easy listening. I like WXXL (XL106.7), WOMX (105.1) and WOCL (105.9).

WJRR 101.1 is the harder rock station

Mix 105.1 is more Adult Contemporary

Sunny 105.9 is a mix of 60s 70s and early 80s

XL 106.7 is Top 40

Real Radio 104.1 is local talk radio

96.5 is for classic rock. Morning show isn't bad.

I listen to that or 105.1 the most.

Sometimes further away stations like 100.7 or 101.5 but mostly (95% of the time) I'm listening to my iPod in the car or at work because Orlando radio S*CKS!

Any rental car I've rented in the past couple years has had satellite radio in it. That would be a better option as far as I'm concerned.

You're pretty much out of luck. Orlando, FL is one of the worst radio markets in the entire USA. For example, you won't find any classical stations because the local PBS station put that channel on their HD broadcast which requires a special receiver. Except for news, Orlando is a radio wasteland. I only listen to either an MP3 player or CD's while in Orlando. :thumbsup2

90.7 WMFE is News/Talk
