Kay you really are keeping count of people's post on your trip report. Will there be a #200 post dedication. I will try harder...

It's not the number of posts, it's the number of PostERs. People. So, alas, it's too late for you! I had looked two or three times to see how many readers I had accumulated, once I learned on this board (see how useful it is here?) that you can do that. If you click the link on the number of posts, you get a drop down menu of who has posted. The first time I looked I was at about 45 people, the next time around 75, and the last time I was at 98. That's when it got the idea that when the 100th person responded to my report, I would dedicate an episode to that person. Since then, I printed out the list of 100 and have started adding people's names to the list.

Ahem. Not that I'm obsessive about it or anything.

i talked to Utahmama just a bit ago and here is an update ! they are outta of the snow and hit blue skies they are about 230.00 miles from Las vegas that is just a estimate about.. but she sounded good not stressed out and her kids were watching madagascar quietly . we were cut off bad cell area. if i hear anymore i will let ya know..

I don't need to run. I just switch Instant Messenger to "AWAY" or "OFFLINE" and get rid of the web page where I access my work! Now I'm officially on vacation!

Yes, you still have to post on my report. You didn't lose, you just didn't win! Anyone who posts on my report is a winner, to me. I'm addicted to that litle ding DING I get and the pop up screen "You have a reply" blah blah blah . . . so you MUST keep posting. I will probably develop a twitch when I no longer have this trip report to obsess over.

Okay, now about the Village. If I don't have to dress up in funny hats and dance all day, I might like to join the Village People. But I'm sort of a country girl, so I'm not sure I would like so many people around me at all times. And Lowell would be bored if he couldn't shoot woodchucks. He might start looking longingly at poodles and spaniels. I don't know if it would be such a good idea, the more I think about it.

With Hotmail, which is the email linked to my DIS account, I always get a ding DING and a pop up notification of the email. It gives a description of who the email is from, so it says the DIS forum on the pop up.

Yes, if you can turn the page on my report while I'm gone (I just learned the meaning of that quote this week,too) that would be nice. If I sink into obsurity on page 2, I may not collect any more readers.

Lowell has a war going here with woodchucks. He hates them. And has been known to shoot quite a few. Out the bathroom window. From the front porch. Wherever. I forget which episode of the "story" I wrote about that, but it's in one of the episodes. We have 15 acres, so we have a lot of critters.

A couple days ago Tornado braved the winter weather and went out on the porch. He immediately started slinking to the far side of the porch nearest the woods. A moment later he shot off the porch like an arrow. He was after a big, meaty squirrel. The problem was, unbeknown to himself or Lowell and me, Tornado wasn't the only one hoping to have squirrel for breakfast. A second later a red fox came charging after the squirrel! We shouted at the fox till it ran away and got Tornado back in the house. The poor little squirrel ran up to the highest veritical branch in the nearest tree and clung there for about 45 minutes! I would have, too, if I were him!

I just texted Utah.... last I heard from her she was driving and needed to pee!

I am back from the hospital. Ok report. They 'forgot' to tell me Twinkerbell needed to have a post op hearing test and she has a really bad cold right now.... so if she fails it we dont know if it the cold or if it is her ears. And she wasn't completely healed so back we go in 6 weeks. It really isn't a big deal health wise... just a pain in the neck to have to go back. Hopefullly in 6 weeks she will get the green light to swim again. She was a little trooper and an to boot. She was rewarded with a chocolate milkshake. Golden child was also good as gold in the car... at the hospital he was mad that he didn't get to run all the cool instruments. I am glad to be home! Thankfu even.

Lil' G! I can't get busy for a little girl when my DH is at work! Silly!

Laundry is done and so is house cleaning AND school! AND my application.

DH applyed for that job today at the insistence of the boss who mentioned that he should apply for sure to my BIL.

I found something for us to do. It's a beach/walking trails state park. That way we can do some walking and nature watching and if we do get hot, there is a beach there too! Wait till you see the bathrooms. I'll be sure to get pics!

But I didn't take a shower.
I'm having a tired day! I walked around the complex with the dogs and didn't think I was gonna make it. Oh well.

Tammy's god children are spending the weekend with us. So soon I will have a 16 month old and an 8 year old here. Woo!
Plus my sister. She's staying the night so she can help me tomorrow while Tammy's gone to work.

thanks twinkie it's nice to know i am loved no i try to do the same thing as utah (dis as a reward) like when the house is cleaned but with five kids it is never cleaned and then when the older ones are gone i just try to breathe and nap if i can. although,, mayson has been better we moved him downstairs last night and he slept through the night...whoo hoooo but now i have a puppy and she is a lil needy so i went from one child to another but i wouldn't change it for nothing...

I used to take my sisters kids all the time too. I couldn't figure out why they were excited when I did this. This was before I had any of my own. Mind you when kids are way from there parents they are always angels I am told.
