Its the same deal for us that booked thru TA's. We get the shaft because we used a travel agent??? We still payed our $$$ to Disney. I think this stinks.

I don’t know what to believe anymore. Both times I spoke with Tech Support today, they stated that my current home phone number is the number that is associated with my reservation. They also said it is the only phone number they have for me in the system, yet for whatever reason I still can’t retrieve my resort reservation on the dining system. (It's not a DVC or TA ressie.)

Anyway, after poking around for awhile, the Tech Support CM suggested I try clearing my cookies and transferred me to Guest Services. The CM there advised me to get a hold of Tech Support! I got the distinct impression that they have no idea what the problem is. :rolleyes1

When you enter your ressie, EXACTLY what is the error message you're getting? You'll see it at the top of the page...

With CRO ressies, it SHOULDN'T be the phone number match that's the problem. Those phone numbers seem to be transferring fine. Only with DVC (and maybe with TA..but the TA's may just not be using the customer phone # when making the ressie) ressies does it seem to be the phone number.

CRT is a pre-paid meal unless you are on the dining plan and has been for years.

So has anyone used the online for CRT and are on the dining plan?? Did the system recognize that you were on the dining plan?? I am a little nervous about it.

You kind of gave yourself my answer to your initial complaint - the reason they probably haven't advertised it on their site yet is because there are still things they want to fix and improve. Once they get these initial problems worked out, I'm sure they'll be more upfront about it being available.

These were my thoughts exactly.

Who can we call to complain about DVC members not being able to do the 90+10?

We called DVC member services...but had to work our way through layers of supervisors until we got SOMEONE who would actually listen and not recite "customer service circle speech". Even SHE did some of that...but listened a lot more, and was a lot more willing to work with us. She said she was in a direct dialogue with IT based on our feedback...

When booking a resort reservation through a TA there isn't a spot to put the guest phone number anywhere when you are building the reservation. Only on the payment screen and then it doesn't hold it like when you go back in to do another payment for that same person you have to input their phone number again.

DVC management is very aware of the problem, and believe me if I thought they deserved the blame I would be the first in line to blast them, but they are not.

They were not even aware of the problem and did not create the problem and have been very receptive to my phone calls about the issue.

This is a tech issue, it is not a DVC, travel agent, Disney Reservations problem.

Disney definitely has tech issues. I don't understand what their problem is but they have them in every aspect not just the new Dining program.

Hopefully with time they will work through it.

I'm just curious, has anyone been able to put the restaurants on their dining favorites for easy access. Someone was able to do this earlier but I am not. When I get to the blue screen the ones that I had put into favorites don't show up. While in the blue screen I have also been trying to put them in, but I only got one in and don't even know how I did it. For anyone who has been able to put restaurants in the favorites, I would love some instruction.
Thanks

Has anyone used the online dining reservation system? How did it work? What about on the phone, has there been a problem??popcorn::

It will get fixed. I am using a TA as well and she sent me my dining at 630am the other morning so she was up and got it done! I got an email with all my reservations that Disney sent her and she forwarded it to me. I was very happy with it. I would usually do my own but it all worked out. If you have a good TA it shouldnt be an issue.

I agree it will work out it will just take time. :)

I used the online system to add some more adrs to our trip. I love it and haven't had any problems with it. I love the fact that you can pull up your adrs to be sure that they are all correct. :goodvibes

I am in love withthis. Of course now it means I can second guess myself all the more. LOL

I booked HDDR online. When I entered my credit card information, the amount said that $0.00 would be charged to my card.

Edited to add - I just checked out of curiosity, and it looks like as long as you select seats in Category 2 or 3, it comes up that you owe $0.00, but if you select category 1 they will charge your card the full amount.

Hopefully it will be within the next 30 days because that's when I am due to make our ADR's.

There is a really great stickie regarding all thing online ADR at the top of the Restaurants board. I highly suggest you give it a look - lots of good info already and lots of people reporting their experiences.
