I think the only fair trade off would’ve been a LL for the one single pass ride of your choice. They chose not to do that and it’s annoying, but it’s nothing that would make me not want own DVC. I’d be willing to bet if they feel this benefited them at DLR they will roll it out at WDW too. Time will tell.

. BTW we are also on the not Radiator Racers crew - we do Guardians, then immediately over to Incredicoaster (usually ride it twice) then in line for Midway Mania, then THE BEST RIDE ON PROPERTY Goofy Sky School usually twice then back to the room to shower and coffee .

We haven't done Radiator Racers NOT single rider in so long. Haha. It's especially fun when you end up racing your spouse - haha.
The only thing I have through about in response to this is that I have read that EE at DLR was not highly utilized. Judging by my last two trips to WDW where we used EE each time, EE is something that is very heavily utilized at WDW. And, remember, even people staying at value and moderate resorts get EE at WDW. EE is such a thing at WDW that there are many blogs and articles written about the best strategies at each park for EE. I think getting rid of EE at WDW would decrease revenue - so many places to buy food, coffee, snacks that would no longer see business if they got rid of EE. Although I don't have experience with DLR, I sense that it will not be quite the same effect by getting rid of EE.
It was utilized at DLR, those who use it were kind of shocked at them saying it wasn’t utilized. I do see how more would use it at WDW though since there are many more resorts to stay at resulting in more that could use it. I could see them eliminating some of it at WDW, maybe just limiting it to MK and Epcot only. They did reduce it down to 30 min line they did at DLR. For those who live to do EE I hope it doesn’t go away over at WDW too.

That's interesting. Yeah, I guess it probably all comes down to how much extra it costs the vs. how much extra revenue they think it's generating (or, if they think they won't lose as much revenue as the expenses they are saving). I do have to think they would seriously diminish the appeal of a value or moderate resort stay by eliminating EE - I think the only real perk, besides just being "on property" at that point would be the 7-day window to book LLs. Deluxe resorts still have the after hours perk, which I suppose is something else that could be ripe for cuts too.
We will definitely miss EE, we do it every day whether at DLR or WDW. I like your idea of at least 1 for every 2 days. It just seems silly to do 1 per stay regardless of length. Coming from the east coast we have done stays between 7 and 11 days. The next one will be 7 days. To only get 1 LL for those length of stays devalues it.YES! We’ll probably be doing a “landing night” in a smaller unit more often. Save on points for the first night and score an extra LL. It’s what we often do anyway when tight on points. Duo standard and then 1 bedroom
