Hi All :wave2:

I just had a wild thought.

I know two way radios a popular in parks making it easier to get a hold of other members of your group.

Me, I'm going solo this year and I have this urge to bring a radio.

"Why?", You ask if I'm going solo.

When I decide to take a break and give the feet a rest, I figured I'd find some shelter/shade turn on the radio and listen. Basically "listening in", no transmitting.

It sounds like a great way to kill time while resting. Listening to guests trying to coordinate a place of rendevouz (sp) or what not.

Has anybody else just "listen in"?

We use them all the time and unlike phones, you can hear other transmissions as long as it's turned on. People don't use these the same as a private phone....all you will hear are quick one line responses, not conversations.
