LOVE this picture. They look so cute in their costumes. Okay, you went to MNSSHP weeks before I did, how did you wear long pants? I was in short leggings and felt like I was melting?
This!I know Disney is a place that caters to families, but that doesn't come at the expense of the adults who enjoy going without kids. I also get so annoyed by the people who show up five minutes before a parade and ask if their kids can go in front of us. If you were sooooo worried about your kid getting to see the parade, why didn't you come find a spot a half-hour ago like I did?
The parade was AWESOME! I came home and promptly downloaded the Boo to You music (as well as the Hallowishes music), it's catchy stuff! The costumes and makeup on the Haunted Mansion people were unbelievable!
LOL, those pants are actually pants that roll up and turn into capris, and I had them rolled up, so I thought they would be ok...trust me, I was melting!

Exactly, I don't think just because you don't have kids while watching a parade means you should have to move! I suppose it wouldn't be so annoying if people were nice about it, but the people I encountered were just so rude, it was obnoxious!

I always have the Boo To You music stuck in my head, it's so fun!

Jen, great pictures from the Boo to You Parade...you did awesome. I love the picture of you and Brandon with Mickey and Minnie.
I have to say that you are a better person than me. I would NOT have been able to hold my tongue. As Mark and I have traveled without our kids for the last numerous trips, we are obvioulsy alone when we watch the parades (except the last two years when we were with Cayley and Avery). We have heard more snide remarks from people about how Disney is for the kids and adults shouldn't be sitting where the kids should be sitting, blah blah blah. It is obvious they are talking about us. But I have found a way to get back at them without losing my temper. Once the parade is just about to get to the point where we are sitting, I find another family who has young children who are in the back, and I offer to let the kids come stand or sit in front of me. Perhaps those "unhappy" people will learn to keep their mouths shut the next time.![]()
Thanks!

I can't believe how many of you have said that people have made remarks about Disney being for kids, and adults taking up room...this is honestly the first time I've ever encountered that! Maybe people have said things before, but if they did, I must have been in my own world, because I have never heard a word!
I love your idea of how to get back at people who make comments before/during a parade! Ugh, if I only thought of that while I was there, that would have been the perfect solution! I will definitely keep that in mind in case it ever happens again, which I really hope it doesn't!

Great photo with Mickey and Minnie and I agree in that they are such a sweet coupleI keep seeing all these pics of Mickey and Minnie dressed up and we got completely different outfits...I can't wait to share the photos when I get to it.
I love the video of the Headless Horseman - great idea and much better then trying to take a photo!
Ugghh at the behaviour of that womanI agree that everyone has a right to be at the parade (whether you have kids or not shouldn't be an issue) and you sure were nice not to have said anything.
Great pics of the parade![]()
Thanks! I heard there were 2 sets of Mickey's and Minnie's at the MNSSHP's with 2 different sets of costumes! I love that they do that, so you're surprised when you see them!
Thanks, I love that video too! Brandon loves taking Disney videos!
I'm still a little surprised at how rude this whole family was, but whatever, if that's how they want to act when they don't get their way, that's their problem! I'm sure we were not the last people to have to deal with their attitudes on their trip, and I'm guessing not everyone would have been as nice as Brandon and I were!
