Just got home guys! It was a pleasure meeting all of you even though I only seemed to bump into Loveysbydesign lol:cool1: Hope everyone had as much fun as we did and I will be posting a trip report and a pic of all of us

... Long story short, one of my boxes didn't make it to CBR, hence we were short a present I had been working on for months. If you in my part of the exchange want to PM me your addresses, I will try to get those out to you ASAP!

It's almost 8 at night and I have to go to the grocery store!

Just got hme from the long drive today at 3p.m. It was great meeting everyone. Thannks for the great FE gifts!
Hope the rest of you are getting home safely or are still on vacay having fun!

We finally made it home at 9pm last night. After the cruise we spent two days in Melbourne Beach... just about 20 miles south of PC and left yesterday morning.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise... it was great meeting you all...that you all for the FE gifts... that is such a great tradition... we all love it and it's just one more thing that makes the cruise special.

I still find it funny... that on such a large ship... there were 4-5 different families that we always seemed to bump into...all cruise long...:woohoo: We had noticed that on the Wonder before... but didn't know if we'd have that same feeling on the Dream or not with it being that much larger.

I am soooo not looking forward to heading back to work tomorrow...:sad2:

We had a great time. I really do not think the ship seemed very crowded like alot of the complaints on the boards. Our veranda was amazing and had 2 chairs to sit in and 2 lounge chairs. The adult area seemed like nobody was ever there.

The girls had a fantastic time in the clubs and we had a great time as well. We ended up leaving the girls on the ship Nassau day (never thought I would do that) and walking the city and straw market. I was talking to some people that went to Cabbage Beach and they said they had a horrible experience.

Bummer for our last day at sea but there was alot to do indoors. We only went to the 1 show and that was Villians Tonight.

Loved the food at Cabanas even though I wish they would mix up the breakfast options. I though dining room dinner was alright. The best thing I had was escargot (which I thought I would never try).

It was a great time. Loved all our gifts from everyone in our FE exchange.

We just got back last night after being delayed for a family of 10 on our connecting flight. They were flying in from California and they held the whole plane up for 45 min for them. So we did not get home till about 10:30 last night. I need a vacation from my vacation, all the days at the park really took a toll on us. The girls were even ready to leave Disney.

We did not book onboard for another cruise. I tried to ask the guy a question at the booking desk and he was totally blowing me off. We are thinking the Fantasy same week in 2013. We are doing California next year for the opening of the new Cars section.

I still catch myself swaying like I am on the boat.

We agree... the ship did NOT feel as crowded as we had feared, based on previous comments from other cruisers...

And I (Scott) am ALWAYS swaying back and forth... LOL... it's never taken me this long to get my land legs back... it's not bad and I'm not sick, it's just kind of funny that it's taking me this long.

I am still rocking back and forth too. I had a really bad time with my feet swelling again. I am the only one that didn't feel good for the last few days. That's a good thing because on our first DCL cruise my whole family had the virus they brought home from the ship.

I actually liked Villans but think my favorite play was Believe:wizard:

We just got home yesterday and I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful FE gifts :thumbsup2

The ship was nice but I thought the lunch when you first got onto the ship (in Enchanted Garden) should have been in Cabanas. It took my husband 20 minutes in line just to get a small light lunch.

Cabanas was open too:) The line wasn't so bad at Enchanted Garden when we went but I think we just got there at the right time. I had to carry two plates at once though. There was no way I was going to stand in line with my daughter. Right after we sat down an influx of people came.

We ate at Cabana's upon boarding, we had group #3. We also did use Park-n-Cruise and they were cheap and easy to use!

I agree that the ship didn't feel crowded at all, except for the lines for characters and such.:goodvibes We did not get any pix. with the characters until the 'Til we meet again thing at 4ish, then we got pix. with every character at . We missed it on our last cruise as it was only late at night so my kids were so happy to do it this time(except for my 12 y.o. who would only have his pix. taken with Chip-n-Dale!):confused3

We did rebook on-board and only booked 2 inside rooms, with dh in 1 and me in the other for the Dream for Oct. 13th, 2013(pretty cool that the dates were released while we were on-board) It was only $98.50 deposit for each of the rooms. :thumbsup2 We'll add the kids 1 at a a time later when we have extra $$$! Plus I think we're gonna change the date. I was hoping the dates for the Magic would be released to, gonna keep an eye out for them as we may bump to a 7 night on the Magic.

We did Junkanoo Beach on Nassua Day and the walk there wasn't quite as bad as I had anticipated...just horrible exhaust fumes from the cars. We felt safe there and the kids had a good time and it was FREE! Great way to take a dip and cool off with out spending any $$$!:cutie:

We have returned to reality as well and it really is a bitter pill after a great vacation! :sad2:My DBF and I had a great time on the cruise and there truly is a TON of things to do for adults without children. :woohoo: We loved the Adult-only areas but also enjoyed the magic of everything the ship had to offer. In fact, my DBF said he would definitely go on another Disney cruise again. We are thinking about the Mexican Riviera one.

I LOVED each and every FE gift...THANK YOU!! I am still wearing my pirate tattoos...ARRRGGH! pirate:

We did Junkanoo beach but must have left by the time you got there. The sand was a little rocky but I took Claire out and waded a bit. It felt good because it was so hot on Nassau. I had a few photo chances with the characters. We went to the Nassau day Princess meet in the morning and the D bar to get Donald and a few others. I caught Jack Sparrow at Pelican Point tram stop and wrote him a love letter  You'll have to check out my trip report.

We ate at the Cars area when we got onboard. They tried to get us to Cabanas but I knew it would be busy.
Every time I saw my daughter Cassie she had an ice cream in her hand from I Scream lol!

Hey everyone! Just got home yesterday. I want to thank you all for the amazingly creative and thoughtful FE gifts. Each one was appreciated and came in handy. It was nice to have treats in the room and things to wear on pirate night. The cruise was awesome but I have to say I overbooked extras Palo, Remy, brunch, onshore stuff and I'm glad my bf encouraged me to pull back, cancel most of the extras and just enjoy the trip without feeling the need to do EVERYTHING. Something to consider the next time which I hope is soon. I'd love to see pics from anyone willing to share. Hope everyone is making the transition back to reality OK. Best, Marisa

Ugh...what morning.
My 4 y.o. ds has been sick with croup(starting with a high fever on the drive home on Sat.) Well this morning he was throwing up mucus(sorry if tmi) and my 12 y.o. missed the bus so now I have to drag the sick 4 y.o. out to take 12 y.o. to school....so not happy this morning!
Reality sucks!

AGREED! Reality sucks. I want ship life back. I guess I will need to book another cruise. :)

Thank you everyone for the wonderful FE gifts! This was our first cruise and we just loved everything about it. We want to go back again and again. :)

Hummm...a week ago today we were in Castaway Cay. I think I will close my eyes and pretend I am there. :wizard:

Hi everyone! It was great meeting you all and exchanging FE gifts. It really added to the cruise -- which, by the way, was too short!

It's good to be home!
