Onboard Discounts for Future dates

Anyone been onboard lately? I was wondering what the dates and prices were for the booking a future cruise while onboard. In the past I think the dates were limited, but the discounts were worthwhile.

We are going May 4th and I wanted to be prepared.

We booked a future cruise when we were onboard the WONDER last month. The prices were the same as what can be obtained via DCL's website, but we got a $200 onboard credit for the MAGIC next year. There weren't any date restrictions that I know of. Our next cruise isn't until July 2004.
