Does Disney ever offer discounts for Veterans? I know at SOG they offer stays in sept & jan... Does Disney do anything? My husband was just honorably discharged after 10yrs of service... BUT now we can't stay at SOG for our November vacation & won't be using the salute passes obviously.

No, unfortunately they don't shellypaige. From what I've heard the DoD sets the eligibility requirements.

Thanks for replying! Bummer!!! We had no idea he'd be discharged so we had our vacation all planned & now that I've had to modify it were spending easily an extra $3k... Ouch!

I'd heard others say too much food also, plus the ADR issue.

I've always wanted to try TiW also, works for long visits like yours and big families, or multiple visits in a year.

As to your questions Yep the second room can go in their name and they will be responsible for the charges. And the only requirement is that you check in together.

Just heard from my travel agent that the military offer has been extended. She's tweaking my vacation for next July as I type this! I dont know many details yet. i do know the ticket offer - Ticket offer is $169 4 day park hopper and $198 park hopper/ water parks ;-)))
